The House at Log Cabins is situated with ocean and sunset views, caressed by tradewinds, and framed by swaying palm trees. Its large, partially shaded deck is ideal for outdoor dining, checking the surf or watching humpback whales breach. Down the steps from the 40 foot lawn out front are miles and miles of white sand beach and the Pacific Ocean as your playground.

Perfect for three couples, a family (possibly two), or a group of close friends, 'Log Cabins' is a comfortable and peaceful retreat that sleeps up to eight. It’s a fantastic spot for the outdoor enthusiast, or the leisure buff. Your level of activity is up to you.

Living at Log Cabins is simple, yet luxurious. Bedrooms outfitted with King sized mattresses ; and another room has a pull-out double couch. The latter is great for sleeping kids or anyone who doesn't require a closed door. All bedrooms have sizeable closets, and there are three full baths.

The kitchen was designed to be functional, open and spacious with a large island and top-of-the-line appliances. It is often a focal point of activity, and was therefore designed to be easy to clean and maintain a great feature if you plan on eating in a lot (hint: you won’t want to leave the property).

It was the best home we have ever stayed in on the North Shore. We loved the location, we LOVED the house and everything worked, we loved the two shaded patios that looked to the ocean. The property manager, Pete Johnson was very responsive and helpful. We would love to come again. What a beautiful experience.

Beautiful house on north shore

Views for days. Upstairs lanai is very nice. Steps down to the beach. All the appliances and bits you need to cook and bbq. Mahalo for the stay!

Unbeatable location

Hands down, the one of the best rentals we've ever booked. The location is absolutely unmatched—walk out the sliding doors onto the beach and step out of the front gate onto the North Shore's famous bike path. Heaven. The house is walking distance to food trucks, the grocery store and several beaches. The location and views from the house are absolutely stunning—we were rarely inside. We traveled with our 2 year old son and the yard was a perfect and safe place to play. Our one note is that the amenities in the house itself didn't exactly make for a "luxury" stay. Towels provided were old/stained and there was a strong mildew smell in the washing machine. We spend most of our time outside on the sand so these weren't big issues for us. Also worth noting that there is no A/C in the house. This was mostly not an issue for our April stay but one of the bedroom ceiling fans wasn't working and consequently temperatures in that room easily reached the mid-80s. Overall you will not regret booking—just bring your own towels!

Log cabins

Great location and great surf right out front. Weather was not ideal so it was nice to have a dry house to relax in and stay dry. I’ll definitely be back to stay at this house.

North Shore House at Log Cabins

This VRBO is in the best location at North shore. We had at least 10' swells, lots of surfers to watch, and the weather was out standing (90-91). Sandy beach just down the stair from the backyard. Little gecko's everywhere! Very large kitchen which is great for family gatherings, and placing out food on oversize island. We'd stay here again if owners relist, or allow renting! Thanks so very much Pete and David for allow us to use you fabulous home, Greg, Christina, & family members

Awesome House

Checking out of this rental today after 9 days! This house was exactly what we had hoped for. It is accurately represented in the listing. It was spotless when we arrived and the location and view is outstanding. We primarily used the outdoor shower which we always enjoy. Hot Tub was a nice bonus too. You can't beat the views from the lower and upper deck. We had 6 guests. My family of 5 and mother in law. Everyone had ample room. While we didn't cook much in favor of the many food trucks in the area, the kitchen is well stocked. Foodland is super close The traffic on the north shore is heavier than I remember. It seems as though it all stems from "turtle beach" ..that being said, some of the same food trucks in Haleiwa are also located in the opposite direction of this property, well past sunset beach there is a large food truck area including a Giovanni's truck with a smaller line and better parking than Haleiwa. Really hope this property is still available in a couple years when we might be able to come back! Much better than staying in a hotel and so convenient to walk out the door to the beach when ever the mood strikes and hear the waves constantly. Thx so much for a great stay!

Gorgeous place

It’s our second stay and once again it was such a beautiful experience. The owner and manager are pleasant, accommodating and helpful. The house is homey and comfortable for the size of 4 kids and 4 adults. Equipped with all kitchen needs. Walking distance to the grocery store and shark cove. Sunset is gorgeous in front of the house. Everything we could ask for plus more. Love, love it. Coming back again 💛

Wonderful house and location

We just returned from a week on the North Shore. The house is wonderful. The back decks are great. The one on the ground floor was where our group regularly gathered - ample space and privacy but with a great view of the ocean. The sunsets viewed from the deck were phenomenal. Kitchen is large, modern and well equipped, and the furniture in the house is very comfortable.. The beach equipment in the shed also came in handy during our stay. We frequented the beach at the house, but most in our group preferred to go a bit up the road to Sunset Beach (ample parking). The owner's rep was very responsive. All, in all, a great stay!

More beautiful than expected.

Everything was great. We came with two families of four and were not cramped. The shed was filled with beach toys for kids and adults. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. The bottom rack of the dishwasher was missing a wheel which made it VERY difficult to roll in and out, but should be an easy fix. Also, our visit in mid to late June had some very warm, humid days. Extra fans in each room would make the days more comfortable. The downstairs bedrooms face the road and can be noisy. Earplugs were an inexpensive remedy. Overall, this was a wonderful place. we don't want to stay anywhere else. The sunsets are the BEST ON THE ISLAND!

Home away from home

We travel to Hawaii and rent homes during the Summers and have enjoyed multiple houses on the North Shore. The location is great and the home was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Home perfect for 6 people

My mom, sister, daughter, and I met a college friend and her husband at North shore Oahu for 2 weeks. The house was great, with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was great. We only ate out one night, saving tons of money. We will be back...

A Memory Making Location

We have stayed at this home for several years now. We keep coming back because the owners are not only responsive, but create a 'home' that makes vacationing there extremely relaxing. We appreciate that what you need is there without a lot of knick knacks, as if you were staying in someone's else's vacation home. What is there is clean and neat and meets all our needs. The landscape is also maintained and looks like a park like setting. It is easy to access the beach, Shark's Cove, Waimea Bay, food trucks, rental shops and FoodLand. All of those are within a few feet to just over a mile. The house is laid out that everyone has space to relax, but several areas to gather to play games and eat. We intend to keep coming back!

Incredible home on an amazingly beautiful beach!

This is the third time we've stayed in this house on North Shore, and we love it! It's a very comfortable and beautifully decorated home. The master suite has amazing views of the beach and ocean, and it has its own covered balcony. We love to eat at the house sitting outside on the lanai and watching the world-famous sunsets! The location is the best too -- close to Sunset Beach, Ted's Bakery, Shark's Cove, and Waimea Beach/Valley. Only a short drove to Haleiwa for some Shave Ice!

Stunning beachfront paradise

We were over the moon with the house and location. The parents retreat was absolutely stunning; the deck with views, comfortable bed and clean sheets and modern bathroom. The downstairs area was modern just as the pictures showed and had views to the ocean, very light and bright. Gene and Pete were both very responsive. The spa, bikes and boards are all a bonus and everything about the house was perfect. Can’t wait to return if we get the opportunity. Picture perfect and an absolutely wonderful time. Well Equipped and Clean Beach Home

Family of five with small children enjoyed our stay very much. Kitchen had every gadget imaginable for cooking. Beds were comfy with nice sheets. Washer and dryer worked great. Plenty of towels for showering and beach use. Yard was well kept and provided space for the kiddos to play. Spa was usable every day throughout our stay. Basically, all we needed for a comfortable stay was there. Just add food and drinks to this awesome home for a great vacation! We left a pak 'n play for the next family with littles. The only thing we missed was having a bathtub, but try the spa if you're wanting a little soaking time! We will definitely be returning!

Amazing place to stay. Pictures cant do it justice. Love the place and we will be back. Everything we needed was right there and didnt have to get into a car if we didnt want too. 2 families stayed very comfortably and if you like surfing this is the place. Waves can be intense so not a beach to swim at but amazing for surfing.

North Shore Getaway

This is our second Summer at this home. We were so excited to get back because we knew the property and knew that it was a well cared for, comfortable, clean home. This home accommodates 2 families very comfortably. The inside is roomy and the outdoor deck and yard allow indoor-outdoor living. The views make you feel like you really are in paradise and the location couldn't be more ideal for enjoying the beach. It is also close to FoodLand, food trucks, Shark's Cove and Waimea Bay. Looking forward to next year!
