Wonderfuly quiet, clean, freindly place to stay with access to beautiful morning walks on a long ( albeit hilly) dirt road with very little traffic. Lots of snow on the ground when I was there but I am sure in the summer, the fields and surrounding woods are as enjoyable to explore. Had I been traveling for leisure i'd have definitely brought snow shoes. What I did bring was my dog Tavi and he also had a great time with plenty of room to move around and get out for walks. The suite itself was very comfortable, I am typically a little fussy about my surroungings but quickly settled in here and felt very relaxed and I was able to get a lot of work done. Elaine and Steve have created a wonderful little nook for the traveler or vacationer that prefers a more homey feel with great outdoor access. I will definitely go back again!

Thank you, Heidi it was a great pleasure to host you and Tavi. We would love to see you again.
Comfortable, clean & beautiful location. The "library", espresso machine, hot tub & walking trails were nice extras that set this property apart. Very nice experience overall!

About the host
Hosted by Elaine Rust
Our country suite is part of our multigenerational farmstead that sets on 31 open and wooded acres. The Library Suite is the oldest section of our 1779 colonial home. As a family, we enjoy the outdoors, growing vegetables and fruits, and experiencing quiet chats on the back patio or around the fire pit. In our minds, there is no better or healthier place to grow up or to grow old.
Why they chose this property
This is a great place to escape from it all or to enjoy rural and small town vibes. Walk our scenic dirt road, our field and woods trails, or head over to one of our three local restaurants or coffee shop - just 5 to 10 minutes from here. Go broader and head to the mountains for hiking, skiing or snowshoeing. The Lakes or Sunapee Regions are close enough for day trips that take you to lovely places like Flume Gorge and fall scenic drives. And if you are looking for entertainment, Concord CCA holds shows regularly, our New Hampshire Motor Speedway is just north of Concord, Pat's Peak is a 20 minute drive and farmers markets abound year round. (That's just a sampling.)
What makes this property unique
A peaceful country setting with a comfortable bed - these are the most common comments from our Abnb reviews. Expect to experience the same.
