The 'Happy Go Fishing Cabin' at the Park Place (on Parks Rd)
Happy Go Fishing Cabin at the Park Place Minimize your mental clutter in the first tiny home to go into the “Park Place (on Parks Road)” It may be small, but it has everything you need for you and a few others if you wish to get away and enjoy some time to refresh and relax. It’s not about seeing what all you can do while on vacation, the focus here is taking a break. There is a dock with a fish feeder, where you can sit and watch the sun do down against a backdrop of fish feeding in the glassy water. Build a fire in the fire pit. Count the stars. It’s the country, so you can actually see them out here. If you get up early enough, you can brew a fresh cup of coffee and sit on the deck and watch the early morning mists swirl over the water as sunbeams slant through the trees. If you wish, grab a rod and some lures and go catch breakfast. Listen to the birds sing, take a walk on the hiking trail around the pond, or paddle about in the canoe. Come on in, make yourself at home. The cabin sleeps up to four. There is a full bed in the bedroom, and there is a loft with another full bed. The couch also extends into a full bed if you prefer that over climbing the oak ladder into the loft. The cabin is homey and feels very much like a cabin with the hickory cabinets, whitewashed shiplap, cedar accent beams, and vintage barn metal wainscoting. It’s simple, but we try to keep everything there that you need to make your stay comfortable. We are only a short walk away if you need anything. We provide you fresh roasted coffee and farm fresh eggs, complimentary with every stay.

What a cute and peaceful place to stay! Truly a great start to our trip with the opportunity to stay in this cozy cabin and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We didn’t fish or enjoy the boats because it was a bit too chilly for us but it would be a great spot for both activities! Wonderful experience here.
We absolutely loved this little cabin. It had all we needed, the place was very clean and comfortable. The fishing was a great bonus. The firepit was a cute little oasis. Overall a great experience!
Quiet and peaceful. Cabin was clean and furnished appropriately. The only thing I would suggest would be to install a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Enjoyed the stay and appreciate the hospitality. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful property for getting away from it all! Enjoyed canoeing and fishing the pond. Locally roasted coffee and farm fresh eggs made for perfect extra touches!
This was our first family vacation and we honestly couldn’t have ask for anything better. The outside was so beautiful and peaceful. My kids loved being there! My husband and I even talked about future trips to this cabin!
We have never stayed at a tiny home and took a chance here because we enjoy staying in cabins in the country. The tiny home was perfectly equipped so that it felt like there was more than enough room. It was very cozy and we felt so relaxed. We had the perfect weekend here!

Excellent for rest and relaxation. Fire pit was stocked with plenty of seasoned wood. Quiet. Pond was a nice touch. We’ll be back.
For my wife and I, this cabin has become our little spot to getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.. Once again, it did not disappoint.. Along with the relaxing atmosphere that is provided by just being out there, the fishing was so much better than the previous visit .. We will be returning again as soon as we have the opportunity to do so.. Thank you for the experience..
Fishing on the pond. Definitely would revisit this property. The host was awesome. Had a canoe to float out on the pond which was our own private area. The fishing was great there was bass Croppie and bluegill. The unit was updated clean and extremely cozy!
The theme of our stay was geared up for a relaxing birthday atmosphere for my wife.. All the necessary amenities for allowing this to happen were all in place, so leaving for store purposes were very minimal.. The cabin itself, along with the property itself was very clean and neat.. The cabin was very cozy and relaxing .. We would like to thank you for making this experience so much on point with our mission for it… We look forward to booking again in the spring ..
This cabin was the most perfect place for a little getaway. I will be back!
The coffee was delicious, and the owners’ children brought us homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls one morning. So kind and generous and the children were so sweet and polite.
The bed was comfortable, the cabin clean, location was perfect, and the owners thought of everything.
The deck and path around the pond were beautiful and we enjoyed spending time outdoors.
I can’t recommend this place enough!
Thank you for an amazing getaway!

We wish we would have had more time to spend at this cute cabin! Very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our morning coffee feeding the fish from the dock!
Perfect rural stay to explore Mooresville / Charlotte area. Everything we needed was in the cabin and the fresh eggs were a highlight. Would definitely recommend!
