About this property

House at Buckeye Lake with Boat Docks available.

Just float thru life in this centrally located new lake house. Boat docks may be available for $50 per day across the street at the Boatyard. Across the street is a walk/bike path to the north shore of Buckeye Lake & public boat ramp is less that 1/2 mile. Walk to restaurants, Yacht Club, ice cream, Boat Yard for bike or kayak rental or just enjoy a drink with live music. Fenced yard for a small pet (no more than 25 lbs accepted) or enjoy enclosed front entryway to watch the sunset. Roku TV & wi-fi available. National Trails raceway a 5 minute drive from house. Weekends must be two nights (Fri & Sat). When booking, you must tell us how many guests there will be to have enough towels, etc. We must know if you are bringing a pet, breed & size. Pet fee of $50 must be paid at booking or reservation can be cancelled.

We had a very pleasant stay. The house was clean, the badge were comfortable, linens were supplied; and the property is less than 5 mins to the Marina, boat ramps and restaurants. Many things were within walking distance.Barbara communicated well and in a timely manner. Check in and check out instructions were easy. The VRBO app is convenient, but can be a bit challenging for folks not tech savvy.

Nice little house in a convenient location

I was using this house to accommodate family visiting in from out of state. We spent a weekend exploring central Ohio. This house is a fun mix of modern and vintage decor in a convenient location. With easy access to I-70 you can use this place as a basecamp for doing all kinds of fun stuff without having to deal with the traffic and hassles of Columbus. I would definitely stay here again.

A week at Buckeye Lake

Love the house. Clean, and just like the pictures showed. Love the Boat Yard, and walk-in the bike path. Also they allowed our well trained dog 🐶 more places needs to be like these great owners. They was nice also. We will return!

Fun weekend at the racetrack.

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. it was clean and homy. We had a dog with us and was glad to see the fenced in yard. Our host was very welcoming and accommodating. Centrally located near gas, groceries, restaurants and a beautiful lake. We were there for the weekend so there was a fair amount of traffic on the busy street which made sleep a little difficult.

The property with sparkling clean and perfectly adorable. My family of 6 spent the weekend at the Lake House and it was a perfect choice. My son locked us out of the house one night and Barb was quick to help. We definitely would recommend this property.

Location is not as close to area winery or bands as expected. Right on the corner of a very busy street so very loud. This must be a common complaint because ear plugs were left to drown out the noise. Very big yard and house is very nice but expect to drive to where you want to go around the lake.

Thanksgiving 2023

I manage this Lake House. The owners are local. They can sometimes be seen at the Boat Yard across the street on the lake front. Boat Yard has bike & kayak rentals. They may have a boat dock available across the street for $50 per day. We can always check if you need it.

Why they chose this property

This house is in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Accross the street is the walk or bike path that leads to the boardwalk on the lake front (two minute walk).

What makes this property unique

Small fenced yard for a pet Five minute drive to National Trails Raceway. Small village feel.
A private boat dock may be available for guests. Message to check on availability. Public boat ramp is less than 1/2 mile at North Shore State Park. Plz only access the yard from inside the house using the front door; keeping gates closed always. When booking, tell us how many guests will be here & if a pet will be here.
