Antique manor house with pool, panoramic views and garden near Manacor - Son Mas

This beautiful property, which dates back to the 14th century in part, is situated on a hill near Manacor with wonderful views of the surrounding hills. The finca has been renovated over several years and furnished with great attention to detail. A house in a class of its own!

First floor:
The main house with 300 square meters of living space has a spacious entrance area on the first floor, a bedroom with a double bed (150 cm x 200 cm) and a very nice bathroom with bathtub. The adjoining house has a large living room with a fireplace and a large dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed (150 cm x 200 cm).

Second floor:
The large split-level lounge is located on the upper floor. It has a dining area for 12 people and a bright library with a cozy sofa corner. There are large sliding doors that lead to a balcony with a beautiful view. The antique kitchen on the upper floor is more for decorative purposes and can be used for breakfast, tea and coffee. The complete kitchen on the first floor is available for cooking. There are two bedrooms with a double bed (150 cm x 200 cm), a room with two single beds (120 cm x 200 cm) and a room with bunk beds (90 cm x 200 cm). There are also two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. The furnishings are high quality and stylish.

Outdoor area:
The garden in front of the house is beautifully laid out, with a large lawn and a covered seating area, from which there is a lovely view of a side valley. Even in the height of summer, there is often a light and pleasant breeze here - an ideal place for balmy summer evenings. The pool area is located at the back of the house, surrounded by a lawn and sun loungers. Next to it is a beautiful, covered seating area. There is also a shower room/WC in the pool house. The view from here is simply wonderful. There is a wide view over the plain of Manacor, the surrounding hills of the Levante mountains and the adjacent pasture with horses. By the pool area there is a summer kitchen with a new, large gas barbecue and integrated hob, sink, fridge, crockery and cutlery. Next to the house is a small outbuilding with a newly equipped fitness room and a small yoga room. The gardener, who takes care of the property, lives in another building all year round.

Pool:
15 m x 6.50 m, depth 100 cm - 220 cm, stair access. The pool contains natural salt water and is usually cleaned without chlorine, only at high outside temperatures is additional chlorine used (except in very hot weather).

Arrival and minimum stay:
In high season, arrival and departure is only possible on Saturdays. Check-in from 4 pm, check-out until 10 am. The minimum stay is 7 nights. A surcharge applies for bookings under the minimum stay.

Additional costs:
Please note that the price of this house is person-dependent. Additional costs may apply if additional persons are booked. The 1st baby set (baby crib & high chair) is free of charge, baby: 0-24 months. Additional baby sets can be provided on request (15€/set/night). Air conditioning is included from 8pm to 6am for 10 hours per day in July and August. In addition, the optional use of air conditioning costs €25/day and must be paid in cash on site. The finca is very suitable for events and can be rented, for example, for weddings with a maximum of 80 guests, price on request. The tourist tax must be paid in cash on site. Cleaning:
Incl. final cleaning, intermediate cleaning incl. for stays of 14 days or more, always on Saturdays.

Extras:
Fitness room, Bali bed, hairdryer, espresso pot, fireplace + firewood, table tennis, basic equipment with salt, pepper, sugar and washing-up liquid, regular customers receive a 2% discount on repeat bookings.

Bilder beschönigen die Wirklichkeit
Das gute vorweg. Die Finca liegt toll auf einem Hügel / Berg mit einer traumhaften Aussicht über die Manacor - Region. Die Anbindung ist gut und grundsätzlich gibt es eine gute Ausstattung - für das Kochen / Baden / Zeit verbringen in der Finca selbst fehlt soweit nichts Leider ist die Liste der verbesserungswürdigen Punkte doch länger, als wir uns es gewünscht hätten. Da wir keine Möglichkeit haben hier Bilder hochzuladen, müssen wir versuchen mit Worten die Umstände zu beschreiben. Ankunft: Soweit gut - E-Mail wo wir was finden und das hat wunderbar funktioniert, 5 Minuten später Ernüchterung. Die Finca war schlicht nicht sauber. Die Toiletten (Holztoilettendeckel - sehr unhygienisch) waren unzureichend gereinigt, hier und da offensichtliche defekte und den allgemeinen Zustand der Ausstattung würde ich freundlicherweise noch als "in die Jahre gekommen" betiteln. Grundsätzlich gibt es hier erheblichen Handlungsbedarf, denn der Preis der Finca ist schlichtweg ungerechtfertigt. Wir warem im September dort und hatten auch zu unserer Verwunderung nch hochsommerliche Temperaturen - kein Problem, dachten wir, da ja Klimaanlagen verbaut sind. Leider konnten wir diese nicht nutzen, da uns der Vermieter sagte, ab September gibt es keine Klima mehr. Da das Inserat keinerlei Aussagen dazu aufwies haben wir uns die Nutzung regelrecht "erkämpfen" müssen. Keine schöne Art uns gegenüber. Alles in allem gibt es viele Punkte wo gearbeitet werden müsste - hier nochmal eine kurze Zusammenfassung der für uns wichtigen Punkte: - Hygiene Allg. - Geschirrspüler ist defekt / reinigt ungenügend (wir mussten immer mit Hand spülen) - Geschirr / Gläser der Vormieter müssen kontrolliert werden - Sanitäranlagen - Sauberkeit allg. - Preis / Leistung

Sehr rustikale Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Pool
Die Lage ist sehr, sehr schön, da das Objekt auf einem Hügel mit sehr schönem Blick ins Tal liegt. Man kann dort herrlich abschalten! Der Pool ist riesig und sehr schön. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz - drinnen und draußen. Drei große Kühlschränke bieten viel Stellfläche. Das Poolhaus mit Grill, Freisitz, Dusche und WC ist super! Das Haus ist aufgrund der Bauweise sehr dunkel und sehr schlecht beleuchtet. Bspw. in der Küche sind an wichtigen Stellen keine Lampen oder die Leuchtmittel waren defekt. Der Gasherd ging laufend aus. Der Zustand der Handtücher war teilweise grenzwertig! Badetücher für den Pool sind nicht vorhanden. Die angekündigte Reinigung nach einer Woche fand nicht statt. Liegen und Loungemöbel rund um den Pool waren durch die benachbarten Pferde und durch den Saharasand sehr staubig. Die Klimaanlagen waren sehr laut und konnten nachts nicht durchlaufen. Trotz allem - das Anwesen hat sehr viel Charme und liegt toll.

Ein Liebhaberstück und Sehnsuchtsort
Die Finca Son Mas ist ein Liebhaberstück. Für alle die Sinn für ursprüngliches und authentisches Lebensgefühl haben ist sie ein absolutes Highlight und besticht durch ihren unverwechselbaren Charm, schafft Raum für unvergessliche Momente. was man verbessern könnte ist das W-Lan für all diejenigen, die tatsächlich weiterhin beruflich tätig sein müssen. Mückenschutz vor den Fenstern / oder wenn nicht möglich ggf über den Betten wäre wunderbar und ggf mobile Klimaanlagen für die Räume die keine fest installierten haben.
