Your trip back into the 1800's in Historic Jefferson begins as you step foot through the door at "Alsace Cottage" - A historic cottage outfitted with the most unique & charming design elements of the french country era in history.

With a comfy king bed, reclaimed hardwood floors over 100 years old, a tub, and the 3 sided fireplace, you'll be cozy and feel right at home.

When ready to explore, you're within bike riding or walking distance of the heart of downtown where you'll get to experience a slower pace of life (which we could all use from time to time)

Welcome to your new go-to in Jefferson - Your home away from home.

We intentionally designed this cottage to be a place for our guests to decompress & de-stress from the fast paced life that most of us live day-in and day-out.

Adorable room with a gas fireplace that was most welcome on the first 2 cold days in Texas this year!Hosts were attentive to any needs we may have had. Everything was as described in the rental info. This cottage is cute, clean, and cozy. The front porch is great for sitting outside in the shade and even meeting the neighbours. The downtown area is within walking distance although we found that most places close early during the week. The neighbourhood is great for walking around. There are not many cars on the roads.

I’ve been coming to Jefferson to stay for over 15 years and I can say this is one of the most comfortable nights I’ve had. The room was so nice, and everything was immaculately clean. The check-in process was very easy and the neighborhood was very quiet. I loved the garden tub and fireplace in the room. I would highly recommend a stay and look forward to another stay in the future.

Why they chose this property

The French Cottages were a rare find that we came across that as soon as we stepped into, we knew that we wanted this property to be a part of our story. Each of these rooms are so charming in their own way. With the home on the property being built in 1854 and these cottages built soon there-after, we fell in love with the historic french country elements inside each room. Not to mention that Jefferson is just the cutest little town ever! Our property is only about .3 miles from the center of downtown. So just far enough away that it's dead quiet as you sit out on the porch in the rocking chair, but close enough that in a couple minutes you can be antiquing, shopping, and eating to your hearts content. All-in-all, we hope that you love this stay as much as we do. Come kick off your shoes, rest easy, and get refreshed as you step away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Welcome To Jefferson.
