What a wonderful family!!! They played, they laughed, they enjoyed themselves. That’s what happens here, reconnect with humans and unplug the devices. My heart was full knowing this group had such a great experience.
Wonderful stay for a soccer weekend. We chose this place because we were able to bring our dog. 20-30 minute drive to Elizabethtown Sports Park and to restaurants in Bardstown. We enjoyed our stay.
My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful stay in the lovely in this lovely Retreat Home! The home itself was so cozy with beautiful trails all around ! It was a delight to see the stars and hear nothing but birds, crickets and nature all around. We even visited with the lovely horses on the property .
Property as described. It’s definitely in an isolated location. Great for anyone looking for peace and quiet in a rather rustic setting. It was a great base for our overnight trip to a local monastery. Loved the horses and deer.
Great stay. I liked being a lil away from the event. This place was pretty awesome. I'm sure it said in the listing, but there's no wifi...was not an issue.

For something that is deemed “perfect”, we have to assume they couldn’t count stars appropriately.
My fiancé and I stayed the weekend for the Kentucky Derby, and loved our stay. The please was quiet and peaceful, and within 20-30 minutes from restaurants and distilleries. The hosts were very helpful with recommendations of things to do, and places to eat. Overall a great place to stay!

Awh! We love sharing our culture and property with others.
A hidden gem, it definitely was tucked away in the woods and exactly what we wanted. The outside sitting area under the shade of the overhang and the trees was perfect. It was nice to have the fans on which made it comfortable to sit outside and keep the bugs away. The place was clean and well stocked. Jill was a great host and communicate very well.
We booked this stay on a whim. Just needed a slow down and this place did not disappoint! Jill is an amazing host and her personality is one to love!!! We enjoyed the home and the pond. Bring your poles because there's some big catfish in that pond! Was not disappointed! 10-10 we would absolutely recommend!!
We had a great couple of days! True country living- the boys enjoyed fishing and we all loved the quiet. Everything was as described and communication was great. We would definitely like to stay again if we are ever in the area.

You guys all come back anytime! We loved having you all. I hope the boys won their ball game! 😃
An excellent place to stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, the home was clean, warm and welcoming and had everything we needed. The handsome dogs visited daily so be sure to bring snacks. I’ll definitely go back.
My mom, daughter and I stayed at the Mountain retreat. It is so cute and the hosts are amazing. We were in town for a baseball tournament and the drive back and forth to Elizabethtown was a bit farther than expected, but worth it.
Great peaceful property off the beaten path away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My wife and I were in the area for the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, and this was the perfect retreat at the end of the day to unwind and relax.
