Very clean / fire pit amazing !!! hot tub could be hotter - upstairs room was really hot !!! - too hot - Master bed mattress a bit too soft for us ! And pillows really hard to sleep on / House build is awesome would stay again with these few minor adjustments.
This cabin was absolutely adorable! The screened in back porch was so peaceful. I wanted peace and relaxation and that’s exactly what I got. Will definitely be back!
The property was absolutely beautiful! The good: location was 20-30mins from each large city, the house was great-plenty of towels and rags, and the host was super communicative. The bad: 1 only mirror in the bathroom, only 1 wine glass and 1 regular glass, 8 coffee cups though, no pans to cook in. There is a blackstone, microwave, toaster, and regular coffee maker though so not a deal breaker! Would absolutely stay again!
Check in was easy, it was clean enough. Better not have anything bigger than an f150, or you’ll have a hard time trying to park. Tight driveway for sure. Bed was TERRIBLE. That was the whole reason for booking, to avoid my bad camper bed. I’d been better off, and save 1,300 to just take the camper at this point. TV’s would randomly reset/ turn on. The mini splits… geeze, so noisy. I’ve never heard mini splits so loud. Made it hard to sleep. It is very close to the road too. It’s quieter at my home than there! Hot tub controls barely worked. Screens on porch ripped, lights on outside of home flashing, swing rubs deck when swinging. Minor issues- but for more than my mortgage for a week stay- I’d expect better: sink mounted crooked, toilet lid loose, outlets/ switches throughout are crooked/ loose/ upside down. Everything just spray painted black it looks like, so the loose electrical wires in the porch ceiling shifted, showing unpainted areas, kitchen faucet leaks when in use, headboard is huge, makes reaching the lights above you to turn off a pain (I’m 6’2” btw), holes/ no trim rings/ non functioning outdoor shower.Again, minor stuff, but I expected better given what I paid. Take a walk around the backside, you’ll see “curb appeal” for sure; loose/ falling soffit, trash bags covering holes in the ground, extension cords laying everywhere (spray painted black). The list goes on… should have called it “cross-eyed cabin” for all the crooked stuff inside.
It was a very cool place and laid out well for a smaller cabin rental. We really enjoyed the space and family time we were able to have here. We grilled on the porch area and the hot tub area was so nice. Our teen also loved the loft area above the main area. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay!
Driveway/parking was just a little narrow for my husband’s truck but manageable. We also brought our dog and it took a day or so for us to locate a good walking area for him but just walked on the road that went to the Cabin.
The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable for the three of us. The space, though close to another rental and a residence, still felt private enough. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. Only downsides, which didnt impact things in a terribly negative way, were the bathroom door needing some WD40 (open space concept meant no way to dampen the sound in the middle of the night), no bonfire tools so we couldn't properly clear the pit for use (which did contain cigarette butts), and only one hook in the bathroom to hang towels (three adults for a week with no washer and dryer meant being creative about where towels hung to dry). We would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The host was very responsive in responding to my dozen messages. It was my first time using VRBO the bad: The oven did not work it took 3 hours for breakfast to cook which we ended up having to toss in the trash. The instructions on how to change it from cold to heat were nowhere to be found and the floor was dirty my child’s feet were dirty from them. Not the greatest experience especially with it being a surprise for my wife for her birthday. The host only wanted to refund me back the 50 late check out fee which I understand people have to make money but I also spent a lot on the stay here. They also said the maintenance guy would come out and have not seen him yet so this review is just a hope they do better. Also I hope they fix the leaking back patio roof and the floor that is soft in living room. It says 3 beds and only 2 beds were there they may have been mentioning the 3rd bed as the swing patio day bed on the back porch but it should be stated clearly so guests can plan accordingly
The good.. easy in and out. Easy to find. Nice layout along with lighting.
Room for improvement. All light bulbs work and are the correct light bulb for the application. Mini split air filters are cleaned to allow operation of equipment. Hot tub control panel does not operate properly to allow for temp adjustment.
With that said it was a great stay and would stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Cabin is well built and the kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. The bathroom, and especially the shower were very nice. We really enjoyed the half screened porch + hot tub. Modern smart TVs with all the apps already loaded made for good lounging. Memory foam king size mattress was very comfortable.
Here are the negatives, though none of them were significant enough to affect our stay. There's no dishwasher in the kitchen, and also no dish drying rack. There's also no closet, or hanging rack in the cabin. The two minisplit heat/AC units worked fine, but were a bit finnicky and it took us several nights to dial in the right settings. Finally, there is a highway bordering the back side of the property. The traffic was very light or non-existent during our stay, especially overnight. There are also neighbors not too far on either side, but all the windows inside have full curtains.
We would definitely recommend this location and would happily stay again given the opportunity.
The cabin was great. It was clean, communication through the app was simple and quick. They own the cabin next to this one, and there is a beautiful creek by that cabin. They were nice enough to allow us to go down next to that cabin to access the creek. Our kids and dog had a blast playing in that creek. There is a busy road behind the cabin, but it was not noisy inside the cabin at all. It was only mildly noticed when outside by the firepit or on open porch. There was beautiful hiking nearby, there’s not much as far as a town or grocery, so just make sure you have what you need or expect to drive 25 ish minutes. I do wish they had a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the cabin. They need more dishes, as we did not have enough without washing right after using one. Overall, we loved this cabin and would absolutely stay again.
