Convenient budget stay in town of Quepos

I knew there was no parking but the street parking was scarce. Mandy and her son were so friendly and helpful when we checking in and out. It’s right in the middle of Quepos town area which was it’s up’s and downs but the spot was comfortable for what we wanted.

Safe and private! Located off of the main road, so less foot traffic. But, still only about a 10-15 minute walk to Malecon and the Quepos Promenade. Kenny greeted me and showed me around the place. The apartment is spacious and the bed is comfortable. There’s no air conditioning, but the super fan really helped to keep me cool.Also, there’s no hot water which is clearly stated in their listing. At first it felt really cold, but then it became nice to take a cold shower after sweating all day (it gets super hot in Quepos). Plenty of space in the fridge for storage and a full kitchen in tow. The front window over the kitchen sink doesn’t close, so you can hear the loud noises outside, but the fan does help to drown out the noise.Also, the tenants/guests above me were either super loud or the building is just older because I could hear them thumping and closing doors all throughout the night. This is to be expected with an older building and/or this basement like setup. All in all, it was convenient and comfortable for the most part (and a great deal). I’d stay here again.

An amazing economical place to stay in Quepos

Very clean and well-appointed, this property is ideal for a budget travel who wants to have an authentic experience. Everything you want to do is nearby and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating at check-in, check-out, and during our stay. Communication was excellent. I would not hesitate to choose to stay here again. Maday and her family do a great job!

The hosts were amazing and accommodating. It was refreshing to meet them at the door as they provided guidance to the entrance/location. There was a stove and coffee makers, and dishes to prepare drinks and meals. George and Kenneth spoke excellent English and were very responsive to the very few needs during my visit.

Close to Manuel Antonio

This apartment was 1 block away from the bus stop that costa $1 to ride to Manuel Antonio. With checkout at 11am we could get to the park when it opened and beat the crowds and have cooler temperatures . We were back in time to shower and check out and continue another beautiful day in Costa Rica. This home is within a short distance to the water and nice bars/restaurants. No AC but the fans work well with the cool showers felt invigorating. Nicely decorated with everything you need with a coffee pot, microwave refrigerator, utensils, dishes and pots and pans!

Points positifs : l’hôte répond rapidement et a fait preuve de flexibilité. Elle est très compréhensive et gentille. Les photos sont représentative du logement. Un arrêt d’autobus est très proche. Points négatifs : Le parc Manuel Antonio n’est pas à 20 minutes à pied comme indiqué, mais plutôt à 20 minutes d’autobus. Le logement sentait beaucoup l’humidité et nous avons eu des cafards. Il fait extrêmement chaud malgré les deux ventilateurs sur place. La cuisine ne possède ni de micro-onde ni de four comme indiqué sur l’annonce. Qu’une plaque de cuisson est à votre disposition. Le logement est loin des plages et des attraits touristiques. Pour le même prix, il y a des hôtels qui sont beaucoup mieux et mieux localisés.
