What a great OKI rental! The house was spacious and wonderful with a well-appointed kitchen. We loved having coffee on the screened in porch in the morning and a cold drink in the evening. Every bedroom had thoughtful accents-chargers in the master and book/toys in the others. And so dog-friendly! The bowls, dog bed and raised bed on the porch for comfortable squirrel watching were lovely touches. Great host communication and a short, easy walk to the beach made this a one of our favorite rentals ever.

We had an awesome weekend getaway stay! The home was beautiful, clean, and everything was well stocked. We enjoyed cooking meals, lounging on the screened porch, and many walks to the beach! Just a few minutes from the beach access, grocery stores and dinner spots. Our toddler had plenty of space to hang out and it was so great to bring our pups along! We had the best time and hope to visit again soon :)

What a wonderful stay we had. This house is decorated and stocked nice with everything needed. Plenty of room for us to hangout. Less than a 10 min walk to the beach and it's all sidewalks. Communication was excellent with the host. We had a slight problem after check in and the host immediately got our issue resolved. A+! Highly recommend

Winter Visit

The property is a short 2 minute walk to the beach and perfect central location for strolling all over Oak Island. Like new condition, beautifully decorated, tranquil porch, and has everything you would need. We stayed for a month and never needed anything extra. Hosts were very helpful in all communication. We will be back for sure!

Nice house High Traffic

This house is very nice house, however it backs up to a very busy road. Has a nice porch, but hard to enjoy because it was right on top of the roof of the house next door. We did have to do some mild cleaning when we arrived. A few of the items in the house were not working/needed improvement.

Thanks for your honest feedback, Joseph—we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're glad you found the house itself to be nice, and we’re sorry to hear that some aspects didn’t meet expectations. We’re actively working to improve the areas you mentioned. While the location does back up to a busier road, we hope the proximity to the beach and local attractions still added value to your stay. We truly appreciate your input and hope to have the chance to host you again with an even better experience.

Property was beautiful, very well kept and clean. Host was very communicative providing check in and out instructions and reminders. Our family of six fit perfectly and the few minutes to walk to the beach was perfect also. We will definitely check to see if this property is available again for your yearly visit to OKI.

Very beautiful property! The only one thing I didn’t like was the inaccurate listing information , map shows the property located a lot closer to the beach than it was, except that everything is great

This rental exceeded my expectations! It was a beautiful modern home that was clean, close to the beach, and had everything you would ever need for a beach vacation. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to any message I sent. I will rent this place again and again when I visit Oak Island.
