We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with family. The house was very accommodating. Plenty of space for our group of 20. Despite getting rain the first two nights and the temps dipping into the 70s, we had a great time. Wish we had been able to enjoy the pool a little more but by the third day of rain the water was a bit chilly. The kitchen was well stocked as were the restrooms. I loved having the big laundry room for extra storage. Really came in handy. It was very quiet. We can see the neighbors but never heard them. The property is quite large and very scenic. The kids areas were very thoughtful. We would definitely stay again.

You couldn’t find a better place for kids! From the pool to the playground and the house with a movie room, dress up closet, toy closet, craft cupboard and kids books we couldn’t ask for more. The kids were entertained our whole 4 day stay. Jim was very responsive to any need and quick to fix any issues. We made some wonderful family memories here and hope to be back!

We had a group of 16 co workers and we all had a comfortable space without feeling like we were on top of each other. Lisa was easy to contact and quick to reply. There were even 2-3 "extra" fun things that helped make staying at the house a fun experience. We didn't have any kids, but it would be so fun for families!!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was absolutely fabulous and the owner was a delight.

We had a mother/daughter trip for a group of 17. Plenty of room for everyone. The girls enjoyed all the home had to offer and the moms had all the necessary amenities. It was a perfect fit for our group. Gigi was very accommodating and an absolute dream.

Jerob's Place is rightly named as it was home to a very special young man who against all odds: jumps, runs and has spent years playing on the Kings Fortress and learning to swim in the pool. He is now able to not only jump but to get around well enough to live in a home where he has to navigate his world at much a higher level.

This property is unique in its ability to be enjoyed by a honeymoon couple or a family with multi generations sharing a special vacation., anniversary, birthday etc

What makes this property unique

Playground extra large with interactive unique giant mountain roller and circular slide for all ages. Playground sets on a multilevel shaded area of AstroTurf making it safe for all ages to enjoy.

Swim spa is able to be a great place to start your day with a brisk exercise routine or enjoy the bubbles relaxing as a family in the evening. Large enough for some to be swimming and others relaxing.

Pool is extra large with many areas to sit within pool which again is for all ages and swim level. Pool was built with safety in mind since it was utilized by a non swimming handicap child who required shallow safety no matter where in the pool he was.

Grounds are covered by trees throughout and incredible secluded from the world around including neighborhood.

***NO SWIMMING in the marsh.

Home has large rooms with plenty of space to easily house many and not feel overcrowded. Rooms are decorated with unique themes.

Property often has painted buntings, golden finches, hummingbirds, kingfishers, wood ducks, and Canadian geese.

Nearby is Canton Trade Days, a few miles from Rose Horse Park, Lindale town center, Splash Kingdom Water Park, Tyler offers various attractions and museums, and a short drive to a grocery store in Van to stock your fridge to cook.

During the months October-April, If you would like the pool to be heated for your stay... We need a minimum 30-hour notice and payment must be received 30 hours before your stay begins via the platform you booked through. Due to the current market price of propane, the pool heating fee will be based on number of nights booked and charged as follows ($375 for first 2 nights, $75 for each additional night, with a max $600):

2-night stay: $375 total
3-night stay: $450 total
4-night stay: $525 total
5+ night stay: $600 total
