Good communication with host. Convenient and beautiful view of lake. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. It was winter and the windows let in a lot of drafts in the main living areas so bring some throw blankets if you can. But even though it was cold, it's my favorite place I've stayed in Marquette.
I would higly recomend this place to stay. We were ablt to cook our own meals in the kitchen, there was ample beds for our family of five and it was very clean. I would stay here again when we visit in the future.
Great location. Manager is excellent he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The apartment was very clean and super comfortable. We would definitely stay again
Great host. It was comfortable and clean. We would stay again. Thanks!

Econo lodge end unit on highway - not ideal for restful vacation
Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The unit is located at the end of an Econo Lodge motel, just feet from a highway, and road noise was constant throughout the day and night. Noise from neighboring rooms was also disruptive, and the front desk was not successful addressing the issue. The condition of the unit was disappointing - at first glance it was fine but as we settled in the lack of furniture and condition of what was there was poor. Much of the furniture was very worn, and several lamps were missing shades or didn’t work. There were no blackout curtains, so light from passing cars and a nearby road sign made it hard to sleep. Many windows were missing screens so you couldn’t open windows for fresh air. We also had issues with the heating system not turning off and the AC not working—though this was resolved quickly. Ants were highly present in the unit during our stay coming in from a hole in the wall above the couch. The kitchen was minimally equipped with dull knives, no kitchen towels, and no hot pads, making meal prep difficult. Additionally, the WiFi was very weak and only worked in one bedroom. While the location may work for some, we wouldn’t recommend this unit for families seeking a restful and well-maintained space. The noise from the motel and road ruined it for me.
The place itself was great! Spacious rooms, and it had laundry! The I ly bad part was there was sand in 2 of the beds when we got there and the floor was a bit dirty. Otherwise everything was great

Unit DOES NOT have air conditioning as stated in the description.
Unit was clean and spacious as described. However, this unit does not have air conditioning as stated. The unit was very hot during the day and at night the windows being open was not an option because this unit is approximately 100 yards off of a 5 lane highway with a large amount of heavy truck traffic. Made several attempts to contact the property owner without success. Contacted VRBO and they as well could not reach thr property owner. After day 2 a fan was dropped off at our unit in an attempt to help cool the unit. Property owner needs to be more honest in the listing.
We were looking for a place with a small kitchen and a couple of bedrooms to stay for one night - and found this location at the Econolodge kind of last minute. I wasn't used to a VRBO being part of an Econolodge, and I sent a few questions, but didn't receive any responses.
Upon arrival, the person at the front desk had no idea they had a VRBO unit, which made me pretty nervous, but she called someone and found that they did... It's a small motel, and at this point I noticed 3-5 frantic Econolodge workers rushing into the VRBO unit with fresh sheets/towels/cleaning supplies, etc. Despite having just driven 5 hours, I politely asked one of the workers if they needed some time, and they politely responded that they would appreciate if I could wait 20 min...so we did.
Overall the unit was fairly clean and spacious, but be aware it's right along a 5 lane high speed highway, so it's not exactly quiet. And while it is "2 min from the great lake" as advertised, that's if you walk across the 5 lane highway and down a steep embankment. This one is on me, but note the unit has no AC, which ended up being a huge issue. Bad luck on our part but it was close to 90 degrees the day we got there, and the cleaning crew opened the unit up and ran the dishwasher, so it was 90F+ in the unit when we got in...and opening the windows wasn't great (at night) due to the noise from the highway. Additionally we asked for more fans, but were told there weren't any. Strangely every other room in the Econolodge had AC.
Breakfast was included but it's really just coffee, oatmeal and some cereal boxes...so better than nothing, but... Overall it was a hot, sleepless night for my whole family, and we were happy to be leaving in the morning.

Awful
Absolutely filthy, says lakeside but the lake is on the other side of the loud highway, says it's air conditioned but it has grime and dust coated fans instead, hand soap dispensers and laundry detergent were empty, did I mention it was disgustingly filthy?? I'm not sure anything has been cleaned for quite some time. Those spiders and ants are established and know they're safe.
