Galena getaway

Overall we had a great trip. There were a few issues with the house but Jess was in constant contact with us to work through them. She even alerted us to potential severe weather headed our way. We loved that the house was dog friendly, enjoyed having our dogs with us for the stay. Some of our family played golf a couple of times as well as tennis and pickle ball. The area is absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful place

I would definitely recommend this property! Jess was very responsive and kind. Best part of the house is the private balcony attached to the master bedroom upstairs. So peaceful. I loved waking up to the sounds of the morning birds. The breeze was nice and it felt like we were secluded from everything. Our dog absolutely loved it too! House was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The sky windows were awesome to look at when we had a big storm. My husband and I played Pac Man in the game room. We had a ball. Hot tub on the back deck was soooo relaxing! Very clean and you're not facing neighbors. Only downfall was the size of the back yard. I would've liked it a little bigger for my dog, but we worked with what we got and he still enjoyed it!

Great Space and Amenities

The stay was perfect for our family of five (two adults and children ages 7, 9, and 11). We all loved the hot tub and video games. The kids enjoyed the oversized whirlpool tub and the owners club amenities. Thanks for a great stay near Galena!

Perfect Family Getaway Home

This home was perfect for my family & I. There was something for everyone. The kids enjoyed the game room & large supply of games that were stocked in a closet. There were more than enough supplies for our dogs, including dog bowls & blankets. We all agreed, the beds were very comfortable. The clubhouse was great. We were able to go swimming there. They also had basketball courts & pool tables. I am sure we would have soaked in the hot tub if the temps weren't so frigid. This property is a short drive to downtown Galena, which we visited. Chestnut Mountain Resort was a short drive as well. The house was very clean. Most importantly, our host accommodated us with an early check-in to avoid the bad weather that was approaching our way. This allowed us to arrive safely & to begin our long weekend stay. Our host was also quick to respond to any questions we had, which is important. I would highly recommend others to vacation here.
