About this property

1925 Craftman style home close to downtown Morton

Charm on Main is a gorgeous 1925 craftman style home with several modern amenities. The home features a large covered porch complete with wicker furniture. The home has all original oak wood trim with all wood floors and built in oak bannister with original leaded glass. A small quiet study is located near the front of the home and offers a place to read or spend some quiet time visiting with guests. The new all leather Relax-a-Lounger adjusts to a full size bed.

The living room has an all new leather couch with coffee table and 50+ inch TV. TV has several free channels with all of the favorite sites such as Netflix. Free high speed WIFI is located throughout the home.

The dining room has a large hardwood table with seating for up to 6 people.

The large kitchen includes dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, gas stove/oven, and refrigerator. Dishes, glassware, pots and pans, silverware, are all stocked. We do provide free coffee for guests.

Two bedrooms feature queen size beds with pillows and comforters. Bedside nightstands have electrical plug in's on the back. Ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms.

The bathroom was recently remodeled and located near each bedroom with shower tub.

Laundry is located downstairs through a locked back door in a separate locked space.

Linen closetavailable with extra towels, blankets, and sheets.

The VRBO rental is located on the main floor only with all pictures showing the available space. The space is not shared and has a locked front and back door.

In July 2022 we added a Frisbee Disc Golf basket. It is located in the laundry room. Please return to laundry soon when finished. We ask that guests use the front yard only to practice. Additionally, a brand new furnace and air conditioner was put in September 2026.

Great space actually spacious and a-lot of sitting room. The decor is beautiful. Very accommodating. There is a tenant upstairs but it must be sound proof we could not hear her. The kitchen is well stocked . Very clean and nice neighborhood easy walk to restaurants and coffee. Host was the best.

We had a 4 night stay at this lovely home. Shawn was quick to reply on any questions I had. General information about the house was written out and easy to understand. Kitchen was well stocked and beds and linens were great! We would def stay here again and highly recommend it.

Inviting and cozy home in great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The place was perfect for hosting Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Also, we loved the convenient location near local restaurants and shops. We hope to stay here again in the near future!

Not a great place if you’re towing a boat. Only 2 boats able to fit in the driveway. No boat parking on street. Parking width not sufficient for a trailer.

Jim, thanks for staying with us. We have a very long driveway and typically can accommodate up to four vehicles. I believe you may have been the first customer hauling boats. Two boats at any location is going to be challenging.

Great location and value

We stayed here in September as a family of four and it was great! Loved the location to everything, was very affordable, clean, and communication with the host was clear and concise. We got scones and coffee from across the street and enjoyed them on the front porch. Would recommend!

This is just a fantastic home. Wonderful Craftsman style and would sleep 6 people comfortably. Location is also great. No street noise and a tasty scone / coffee shop on the corner. Would stay here next time we visit.

Family visit to Morton

Loved this property being so close to Four30 Scones. Walked over there a few times! Also loved proximity to downtown Morton, was able to walk to the pumpkin park and Ice cream shop.
