There's no better way to experience Pensacola than staying at this downtown historic home. Baylen House is a beautifully restored three-bedroom/two-bath 1928 home in Pensacola's Historic North Hill. This two-story duplex's 1800 sq ft first floor is fully furnished with a full kitchen, sunroom, living room, dining room, and laundry. Baylen House is located within easy walking distance of the downtown entertainment district, and a short drive to local beaches (8.8miles), Naval Air Station, and attractions.
We provide you with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash bags, napkins, spices, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, a hairdryer, and beach towels. A beach umbrella and chairs are available upon request. We have an outside area with a table and chairs and grill upon request.
We love to host guests who are here on business. We can accommodate long or short stays and will gladly work with your per diem.
Things to note: *With extreme heat happening, places are having a/c units freezing up because they are putting the temp too low... never move temp down more than 2 degrees at a time. Air conditioners can not keep up when placed 20 degrees lower than outside temp.
“To avoid the A/C system from freezing up and disrupting your stay, please keep doors to the outside closed. This also prevents undesired critters and bugs from joining you in your stay. Thank you.”
*Security cameras are located on the exterior of the house at the entrances, and record video and audio. There are no interior cameras.*
* Our home is professionally cleaned after each stay and all linens are washed between guests - including quilts, blankets, mattress pads and pillow protectors.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Florida is a humid, wet natural environment with lots of nature....many bugs are important to our gardens and ecosystem - we use bug/pest control....but we all do different things to keep praying mantis and other important pollinators in the garden however, rain forces them to seek shelter. We DO NOT offer refunds for a bug, mosquito, lizard or spider inside. We've not had this occur but just incase. Best advice is keep doors and windows closed. Thanks for understanding and knowing bugs are an important part of growing food and having an ecosystem that works to stay balanced. We love the beach and natural environment and hope you will too during your stay in Pensacola…..Enjoy.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, spotless, and fully stocked with everything we needed—utensils, appliances, and more. It felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The location was perfect—just a short 15-minute walk to downtown and only about 20 minutes of driving to the beach. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

This location had everything we needed to feel comfortable, well accommodated, and at home during our 2 night visit to Pensacola. It was very clean and well-stocked and the location was such a quick car ride to both the beach and downtown. Plus, the neighborhood is a historic charm and wonderful for strolling in the morning. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Great property top to bottom. Furnished like a model home. If I travel back to Pensacola and need a place to stay, I will book Baylen. Paula makes the stay easy.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I really enjoyed visiting with Jennifer and Holly. I look forward to your visit next year!
Nice house with beautiful upgrades. The neighborhood was charming and quiet which we loved! Lots of room for our family of 5. The second bathroom was hard to use because it is really small but my husband loved the uniqueness of it. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Very friendly owners and neighbors. Would definitely rent again!
My goodness...what an absolute PERFECT and charming place to stay at for our family of six. The area was so spacious and allowed for so many seating options where we didn't feel crowded at all. The online descriptions and pictures represent well. Paula is AMAZING and her thoughtfulness is sprinkled all over the house from the amount of towels, to snacks, books, toiletry items, kitchen being well stocked, etc..(I could go on)! Not to mention the high level of communication when needed.Everything was so clean, decorated so great, with the location being safe, convenient, and just right - especially if visiting for an event at the Pensacola Bay Center. This location worked for us, our adult age children as well as our elementary age kids. We found it generally easy to find plenty of Veo share ride bikes around if wanting as well.Seriously, if you are wanting a location that's centrally located and not directly on the beach, but an easy drive THIS IS IT! We'll be back!
