Penthouse @ The Cabana-Overlooking CB Boardwalk

Summary:

Step into paradise when you stay at The Penthouse! Fantastic ocean views overlooking the Atlantic plus the beautifully decorated and renovated 3b/2ba condo will knock your socks off! Walking distance to the famous and fun CB Boardwalk, restaurants, and shopping! Take a dip in the pool or relax with your toes in the sand. Make sure to catch the sunrise from your private penthouse deck or from the comfort of the condo! You'll love your stay and want to come back!



The Space:

The pool is located just beside the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather



The Neighborhood:

- Centrally located to enjoy all outdoor activities "Pleasure Island" has to offer fishing, boating, biking, surfing, kayaking, and deep sea charters. Many amazing restaurants, eclectic drinking holes and coffee shops + Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Check out Carolina Beach’s new mural project too!

- Wilmington Airport and Downtown Wilmington less than 40 mins away.

- Take the ferry to enjoy Southport for the day!

- Free parking at condo



-Walk, bike, public parking at beaches and boardwalk, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.



-Bike and golf cart rentals are available on the island- let our Going Coastal team know if you need any recommendations.



-Uber cars and taxi's are also available



Other Things to Note:

We also supply the following for each property:

A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Great Location

This property has been a family favorite for years, it’s close to the boardwalk for easy family fun filled evenings and great eats, the beach access is great also. Perfect location for a family vacation.

Senses on steroid

Nothing like the smell, sight, sound and feel of the ocean waves, wind, sand, sun, moon and of course laughter of folks at the beach. Very healing for everything. Like senses on steroids! Oh yes, and the taste of the good food!!

Fantastic

We stayed at the Penthouse previously and loved it so much we booked again. However, the building was having maintenance done, so the property managers moved us to Island Treasure down the street. What a beautiful place! So much space and the bedrooms were all very far apart, offering lots of privacy. Gorgeous views and very clean. Wonderful, responsive property manager. Highly recommend both Island Treasure and the Penthouse properties. We will stay again. Thank you.

If I could give it 1000 stars I would!

I don’t even want to write a review on this property for purely selfish reasons! This place was INCREDIBLE!!!! I could’ve just stayed in the condo and been perfectly happy. Everything was amazing, the house, the location, the amenities, the beds… the list goes on and on. We will be back!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Cabana suites

Parking is a nightmare! Not enough spaces so some people where complaining about having to pay to park.It is not a gated community. there is a missing gate right out on the street so people where just walking through the parking deck to the beach and on the return trip using all the outdoor showers and we saw people changing clothes between cars in the deck. Inside the unit the floor was so dirty our feet were black after walking on it for less than 10 minutes. It took me 30 minutes of mopping and rising to get the floor clean. On the plus side the view was fabulous and the little boardwalk area took you to restaurants and a small amusement park.
