Perfect accommodations for 2 adults with queen bed, fully functional kitchen, large shower and Washer/Dryer. Located in a quiet neighborhood, this unique home was elevated after Hurricane Sandy and the breezy living area is up one flight of stairs. (Local Rental License # 7932)

I’ll be happy to suggest restaurants, activities and provide directions or transportation information so that you may enjoy your stay in our little gem of a town, Highlands, as well as the natural beauty of Sandy Hook National Park and Beach, and our proximity to the NYCity Fast-Ferry.

Quiet coastal neighborhood in quaint, walkable town known for its restaurants and outdoor recreation. One Mile from Sandy Hook Beach, Gateway National Park. Clothing-optional beach, Hiking, Boating, Biking. Ten-minute walk to Seastreak Ferry to NYC (45min ride to NYC).

What makes this property unique

The cottage was originally built in 1921 and has gone through many renovations – the latest was after Hurricane Sandy, when there was 5 feet of water in the living room!! The cozy 400sq ft house was then completely renovated and elevated, so now it is up in the air surrounded by the cool ocean breezes.
