Convenient and Cozy Up North Experience

The home is as described, very spacious and we had plenty of room with 10 adults for New Years Eve 2022. The open floor plan on the main level allowed for multiple activities to take place and everyone to mingle comfortably. The woodburning stove provided additional warmth and ambiance on the main level. Surely would be a fun summer excursion with the easy river access just out the back doors! Overall a pleasant UpNorth MI getaway for a short drive.

Great time, great friends, great memories

We stayed at this property for my husbands 50th birthday with a few other couples. The weather was perfect and we were able to use the tubes and kayaks provided. Wonderful time and the neighbors were super sweet as well.

Weekend Retreat

This property was amazing for our group. We had a beautiful long weekend and it all started the moment we arrived. The check in was smooth and simple, the house provided plenty of beds and space for our group to relax by the fire, soak in the river or hangout in the kitchen area. It was a great overall experience and highly recommend this location for any group of friends or families looking for an northern michigan getaway on the rifle river.

Family vacation

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect. We loved getting to walk right down to the river and float! The house was very spacious for our large family, and the owner was always responsive to questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

I have lived most of my life in Michigan and spend most summers going up north. Camping or trips to friends properties up here in northern Michigan has been a big part of my life. Now that I have my own place I enjoy sharing it with our guests.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is tucked away in the woods near the rifle river. Far enough away from large roads or traffic, but not so far as to make getting supplies difficult. The house is perfectly placed to tube or kayak down the river and get out right at your back door.

What makes this property unique

The large amount of space and flexibility of the property is unmatched. options for larger groups can be hard to find, especially at our prices. The property truly is a joy to stay at.
