Private Vineyard Estate w/ Guest House & Hot Tub

Truly a unique property perched atop a 2 acre vineyard with over 1,700 vines. Relax on one of the many outdoor decks sipping wine by the firepit and taking in the panoramic views, or play a game of pool in the game room. Other entertainment features include indoor and outdoor foosball tables, Ms Pacman classic arcade with over 50 games, ping pong, tether ball, corn hole (bean bag toss), expansive play structure, large outdoor BBQ, hot tub, TV's in all bedrooms, and Atari game system. The home layout is ideal for families or friends, with 4 bedrooms in the main house and the convenience and privacy of a separate Guest House with a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom.

Guests will enjoy private access to the entire property, including the house, the casita (one bedroom detached guest house) and all outdoor entertainment spaces.

Other things to note:
This is not a party house. No events or gatherings allowed. Also, there are no day guests allowed, over the guest count you cite on your reservation. Please just be up front with us regarding the number of guests you plan on having.

We live in a quiet residential neighborhood and have a strict no noise policy between 10pm - 7am. Our neighbors are very noise sensitive and will call us or police if there is excessive noise after 9pm. Please be respectful of our neighbors and community.

The main house is over 2,600sf with 2 shared full bathrooms and 3 spacious bedrooms. There is a small bedroom with 2 twin beds that is attached to Bedroom #2. To access the sleeping space, you must go through the bedroom #2. There is a door between the two rooms for privacy.

The detached 1 bedroom guest house is approximately 600sf and located just steps from the main house. The guest house has a full kitchen, 1 full bathroom and a comfortable living room with a couch that converts into a twin bed for extra sleeping options. Great for extended families, friends or use as a master suite!

We have beach chairs and two coolers for your use if needed.

There is no street parking available. Please drive slowly on the one lane road to house. Driveway parking allows for a max of 6 cars.

The vineyard was planted in early 2018, and the first harvest took place in fall of 2020. We produced our first Dickson Reserve Red Blend in June 2022 (its quite tasty!). Because it is a working vineyard, there is weekly maintenance scheduled on property. We never start landscapers before 9am and will try to give you a heads up.

Vineyard House

We had a great time at the Vineyard house. There were 9 of us; 4 adults and 5 kids (3-12 yrs). Lots to do for all ages and plenty of space. It was about a 30 minute drive to the beach, zoo and Sea World. Would highly recommend.

Great family oriented vacation home

We chose this house based on time of year and warmer temps as opposed to a coastal location we typically go to for family gatherings. There is lots to do and our entire family raved about everything. The hosts are awesome and very responsive … wanting to help make our stay a memorable event. It was easy to see how this house is a favorite for many over the years

Great Annual family vacation

Great property with lots of things to do with the family. Ping pong, bags, video games, spa, and great views. Easily one of our favorite places to stay. 30 min to get to the beach. Kitchen was perfect for making meals. Check in was easy and we had great privacy.

Perfect house for large family

The house was beautiful and has amazing amenities and games for the kids and adults. The beds are comfortable and was a very clean property. Our family had the best time and would recommend to everyone. We will be back to rent again.

Beautiful view!

So much space! Plenty of room to spread out and take advantage of the many amenities provided. Two minor suggestions; light switches were sometimes hard to locate and the bed in the guest house had a foam topper which is not ideal for those of us with mobility issues. Otherwise, the home was amazing.

Fabulous home on gorgeous vineyard!

Upon pulling up to the property, we were all amazed at the beauty surrounding it. We had 8 couples and the house was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of room to hang out together, but big and spacious enough to spread out and have alone time if needed. The variety of games and entertainment available for guests is insane. There is so much to do, you really don’t ever need to leave the house except for sight seeing. I would definitely stay at this place again. The owner was excellent and super responsive. THANK YOU for a memorable trip!

Wonderful property for a family getaway

Our families (2 families with kids ranging between 6-12 years old) enjoyed a wonderful stay at this vineyard property. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax. Young and old enjoyed the well-stocked games room, with billiards, arcade machines and the outdoor chess. Really simple touches made the stay very low stress for all of us - such as lots of extra bed linens if needed, plenty of towels, hair dryer, easy-to-use Nest heating/cooling system, washer and dryer in the main house.The host was also super responsive. We had no major issues, the only item needed were additional chemicals for the hot tub, but these were delivered quickly once we notified the host. Thank you!Small things might improve the stay even further - which I note was already great - for example it would be even better if the bedroom curtains were blackout curtains. That is really all I can think of, because overall our stay was without issues and very enjoyable.

Perfect family retreat home

This house provided wonderful space and entertainment for our adult kids and 3 grandkids. The casita was a great addition for my son, daughter in law and toddler to give them a quiet space for early bedtime. Melinda was very responsive to questions and meeting our need for a can opener🙂 kitchen is well stocked, plenty of refrigerator space with one in the kitchen and one in the casita. The town below offers stores for resupply, and it’s an easy drive to San Diego sites. From the Vrbo pics, the house is showing some wear, but still very comfortable. The game room backs up to the living room, so it offers space to be separate but together. The dining area is a separate room with beautiful views, good space for everyone to gather around. The jacuzzi was clean and a plus. Would definitely consider a repeat visit.

Wonderful space for a big family

Our party was me, spouse, and brother with our kids (range of ages 12-20). This was a perfect house for us.The kids loved the game room with its pool table, video games and bluetooth stereo. The adults enjoyed playing cornhole outdoors and sitting in the comfy patio chairs enjoying the view. The house is very well appointed, with plenty of linens, towels, and kitchenware. The spaces are all large and great for hanging out. There are books and games tucked in drawers throughout the house to discover. The only minor issues were: 1.There were some outdoor string lights that shone brightly into one of the bedrooms, and we never could figure out how to turn them off. The light switches in this house are not well marked and are not always in the most obvious place. 2. The bedroom configuration is a bit wonky. It sleeps a lot of people, by having extra twin beds in two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a twin bed next to the big bed, and another bedroom has a twin bed in a small alcove off of the main room. This would be a fine setup for a family with small kids, but with teens and adults it was a little harder to distribute beds in a way that got everyone some privacy. Not a dealbreaker, but something to know going in. 3. The driveway opens out onto a very narrow lane with limited visibility, and the neighbors tend to drive quite fast. We had two near misses on that road. Drive with caution! Overall I would highly recommend this property and would book again.

Amazing Property in the Hills!!

This house was the perfect place for our family vacation!! This was our first trip to California, and this house had the perfect views, amenities, and feeling of home!! The game room kept the kids entertained. It was so close to the attractions in San Diego! We will definitely be back!!

Amazing Stay

I planned a surprise 40th for my husband and needed a place to stay with some out of state friends. This property was perfect for our family and friends. We had friends stop by to visit as well, we didn't need to leave to entertain our friends, we had everything there. The home was very well maintained and cleaned. The beds were so comfortable and had extra bedding and towels. It had so many activities and games for our kids. It definitely felt like home.
