About this property
Downtown Hibbing, 3 bd, 2 ba. home
New sidewalk in front and side to be installed end of july into august- i don’t have the dates yet- so there will be work being done outside-Enjoy this Furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath home while you visit historic Hibbing and the Iron Range. Within 30 miles to Sax Zim Bog and many other attractions. Please make sure to choose the number of guests you will have on your reservation as that transfers to the rental agreement. If there are more than the registered number of guests at the house the rental is subject to cancellation. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 full bath up, 1 full bath downstairs. The bath downstairs is really meant for a tub bath rather than a shower as the shower rod is curved and I guess a little tricky to support with the type of ceiling in the bath, I have been told. Feel free to use as a shower but the upstairs shower is the preferred shower. 1+ car Detached Garage- can fit 2 smaller cars or one larger such as a truck. To approve a booking request a person may need to have at least 1- 2 good reviews. In order to confirm your booking you will need to sign a short term rental agreement specifying the number of guests, rules, etc and you will also need to give permission to use a third-party to screening company to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm the reservation. They use your drivers license to do that and this data does not go to me. You will give permission to SafelyStay, Inc., to screen your identity, and check criminal databases in order to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding Safely’s guest screening can be found at www.safely.com/terms. You will receive an email from Concierge@Safely.com to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email, and contact Safely at Concierge@Safely.com, or go to www.Safely.com, if you have any questions. These 2 things need to be done within 12 hours of booking, or I will need to cancel the booking to open the calendar back up. This protects you in case of damage during a booking.
Travel insurance is recommended as plans do sometimes need to be changed, especially due to bad weather. Pets are not allowed due to allergies. Set in a residential neighborhood and. blocks to restaurants and tourist center. The kitchen, dining, living room, & sunroom are on the main level. (There are currently stairs off the sunroom that will be taken off the home towards end of June and a deck will be built off the sunroom, so please don’t use that door for now as the stairs are not stable). The 3 bedrooms are upstairs and a full bathroom. The 2nd full bathroom is in the lower level. There are Hardwood floors on main and upper levels. The upper bath has new shower tile. New appliances, blinds/drapes, along w/mattresses, towels, etc. The kitchen has everything you need. The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher. There is a green sofa, round glass table, tv and console, and 2 chairs in the living room, and chair and table and TV in the sunroom. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, air conditioning unit, closet, table and lamp. The largest and smallest bedrooms have a dresser too. The neighbors are nice people and quiet so they will appreciate the same from guests. It is on a busy street so you will hear rush hour traffic in the morning in the largest bedroom around 7:00. The other 2 bedrooms face the side and back of the home. You can use Duraflame logs only in the fireplace if you want to have a fire, due to the liner. Regular wood has caused an overload of dust on all surfaces so no regular wood is allowed. You can get single Duraflame logs at Lowes, walmart or Super 1. The code for the door will be sent the morning of check in as you have to use it within 24 hours. The cleaning fee is for the cleaner to come to change/wash the bedding /sheets, bath and floor cleaning, vacuuming, and other cleanup which takes a few hours so we just ask that you leave the home as you found it, other than those things. Towels should be put on the bathroom floor that you used, and beds that you used should just be left unmade so they can check for pretreating anything. Trash can be left in trash can or brought to the garage garbage can. If it is a Monday and the trash is full in the can and you need more room for your stay you can put the garbage can in the garage out in the alley for pickup on Tuesday if you want to. Please close any windows you may have opened and turn off the a/c units, if you turned them on. Please make sure all doors you used have been locked. Thank you.

About the host

Why they chose this property
Enjoy this 3 bed, 2 bath home while you visit historic Hibbing and the Iron Range surrounding areas. It is on a busy street so you will hear rush hour traffic in the morning around 7:00 am in the largest bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms face the side and back. Walk up a few stairs to use a door code for the back entry door to get in and hang your coats on the hooks. The kitchen, dining, living room, sun room are on the main level. The upper level has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath. There is a lower level full bath. The 2 car garage can fit 2 mid size vehicles if you angle the one on the right to the right a bit, or 1 larger vehicle, or you can park in the driveway, or you can park in front on the street in front if it is summer. The house has steam heat and there are 4 zones so you use the thermostat in the living room to adjust heat for that area. The sunroom has a thermostat, and the upper level has one in the largest bedroom, and the lower level has one as well. There is window air conditioning in the summer in the primary bedroom. If you need TV there are 2 smart TVs -one in living room, one in sunroom. there are a lot of free apps on the TVs already such as FREEVEE, news stations Pluto TV, TUBI and IMBD and they have free TV shows, news, movies, and other things. You will need your logins and passwords to access the apps that require a monthly fee such as Netflix, if you subscribe to them. There is a record player, backgammon, cards, books, and poker chips in the dining room area for your use as well. It seems sometimes the power in this town goes out for a bit for the whole town. Have only had it happen one time for a couple hours so far but it isn't the house, its the town.
What makes this property unique
Hardwood floors on the main and upper levels. The upper bathroom shower tile, kitchen appliances, paint, blinds/drapes are all new along with mattresses, towels, etc. The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There are pans, dishes, silverware, coffee pot with coffee and filters, keurig machine with some coffee, decaf, and hot cocoa, microwave, bowls, spices, and everything you need to make meals at home. There is also a george foreman mini grill, crock pot, and glass baking dishes. There is a kitchen breakfast nook with 4 spaces and a dining room with 4 chairs. There is a sofa, round glass table, and 2 chairs in the living room, and chair and table and TV in the sunroom. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and closet, table and lamp. The largest and smallest bedrooms have a dresser too. There are towels and toilet paper in the bathroom cabinets up and down. The neighbors are nice and quiet so they will appreciate the same from guests. There don't seem to be any ride sharing cars in town. You can walk a few blocks to a few different restaurants. There is also pizza delivery from Sammys Pizza and others. Rudy's sub and pizza is 1 block away. There is a taxi company-Hibbing Taxi but you can walk to many establishments on Howard St. You can use the fireplace with Duraflame only due to the liner.-not real wood. You can pick Duraflame logs up at super 1 grocery, Lowes, or Walmart.
