This 1 bed 1 bath condominium is a ground floor corner unit, with a private lanai and located less than 2 minutes away from the ocean. The beach is perfect for morning strolls, reading, and sunbathing. The property’s lovely grounds allow access to some of the prettiest sunsets year-round, as well as whale-watching, tennis, and golf. This unit is conveniently located next to the shuffleboard court, pool and BBQs, so you can keep an eye on your grill from the serenity of your vacation home’s living room. Luana Kai is minutes away from shopping areas, downtown Kihei, as well as many beaches and great food. Its about 20 minutes from the airport or Wailea.

The condo is equipped with a fully remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, as well as all the cooking utensils and dishes you need. As glass is not allowed in the pool area, a set of plastic glasses and plates are available as well. Stackable washer/dryer machines for your convenience, as well as a growing collection of books for all ages. No need to overpack, as we provide beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and maybe even a boogie board or two. Laundry soap and dishwashing soap are supplied. The spices in the cabinet and condiments in the refrigerator are a community effort.

The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the couch can be converted into a queen-size bed which fits 2 people comfortably. The ideal spot for honeymooners, families, or friends - this is a vacation you DON’T want to miss! The nightly sunsets looking out from the lanai are spectacular. It is truly is an ideal location.

Stella was very welcoming and so kind. She has a beautiful place right by the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and set. It's a great location and close to many activities we found ourselves doing. We stayed in Honolulu for a couple nights and that didn't light a candle to Stella's home or the beauty and quiet of Maui. We had a great 17 day stay in this condo. The corner location with views out to the ocean is lovely, probably the best location of all the condos Beautiful sunsets on the beach, whales and turtles swimming off shore.Condo was comfortable with everything we needed. The A/C and washer / dryer were a big plus especially for a longer stay.We would definitely return!

Luana Kai condo

Took my son for his grad celebrations and we had a blast! Nice bottom/corner level condo, with quick access to the pool and bbq's. Beach is right out the lanai with only grass under your toes until you get to sand. Not very crowded beach area took which was nice. Everything was well stocked with what you'd need in the condo, kitchen and beach stuff, etc. The only thing we would have liked was A/C, but there was ceiling fans and floor fans too. Overall, an awesome spot!

Beautiful location and well equipped unit

This was a beautiful spot with great views of sunset. The one negative is we showers up and although it looked like the place had been tidied up, it was dirty. Lots of cobwebs and spiders. This could’ve been because there weren’t recent renters before our stay but showing up and having to clean ourselves before settling in was not what we had planned.

My apologies for your experience. We take cleanliness seriously so I too am surprised at your experience. Since the pandemic, we leave the unit empty for at least a day between guests and after cleaning so it's possible the spiders were also looking for a clean place tp stay. Again, my apologies and thank you for sharing.

Why they chose this property

Luana Kai is a lovely property in a great location. I love that it's a fairly small complex with just three floors and a total of four buildings. Our unit is a ground floor oceanfront corner unit right next to shuffleboard, the pool, hot tub and sauna not including the community sitting area. The tennis courts are a two minute walk across the grassy lawn.

What makes this property unique

My absolute favorite part of this property is the oceanfront view. It’s hard to beat the sunsets from the lanai or even from the sofa. The kitchen window looks out to the pool/BBQ area so it's convenient to keep my eye on the grill and still go back and forth to the unit. The bathroom was just remodeled October 2017. I think you'll love it as much as I do.
