About this property

Casa De Gongas

Welcome to Casa De Gongas! We are about 5-7 minutes from Lake Mayfield and 1.5 hours from White pass, so this home is perfect for warm or cold weather.
We have a two bedroom, one with queen and one with a king bed.
We have a fireplace inside the house for those cold days that fills the house with warmth and a cozy atmosphere and also a fireplace outside the house for those warm days, perfect for grilling and smores.
We have a long driveway thats perfect for parking your boat, snowmobiles or whatever you bring

The space
Casa De Gongas is the guesthouse on the same property as the homeowners. It is directly next to the main house. It is not attached and is its own separate home. The beginning of the driveway is a shared driveway and you will have your own parking next to the house.
The yard is a shared yard, however there is a blocked out area designated to our wonderful guests as Casa De Gongas

Guest access
At Casa Gongas you will have the entire home, the front yard and a portion of the backyard during your stay

Other things to note
We are continuously updating this home. As we do, we will update photos as well.
We like to try and decorate our home for the holidays. If you are staying near a holiday and do not celebrate that holiday then please let us know before you come.

Such a cute and cozy cottage. Everything was clean and welcoming. It is located in a very peaceful setting, close to both Mayfield and Riffe lakes. Big back yard and great setting area on the patio. The host was very propmpt in getting back to me with any questions I had. We were there for what plans on being a yearly swim event and I would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend it.

We loved yhis property! It was super clean, peaceful, and relaxing! It was in a good location for day trips to Mount St Helen's, Mount Ranier, and even Portland and Columbia River Gorge. Highly recommend Megan and this property for a sweet stay!

Amazing property with beautiful views nearby and nice homey touches that show how much the property owners care about your stay. From little goodies when you check in to every possible appliance you might need - from a washer and dryer to a full gas grill - everything you could possibly need is here. All you need when you come here is a relaxed attitude and good vibes.

Beautiful little piece of heaven. We didnt get enough time to enjoy the house but next time we will plan accordingly. The house is adorable and meets all the comforts of home. The covered porch is amazing and the hummingbirds were everywhere! We were only a few miles from our family reunion and also to the lake. We will be plannig another stay. Thanks Megan!

Very Clean, Perfect Spot

Host was very friendly and communicative. Had family in town for a wedding and it was a great location. Had everything we needed and was super clean. Memory foam beds were very comfortable, which can be a crap shoot. Definitely use again in the future.

Lovely home and host. Stayed here for a couple of days to stay close to the lake for some kayaking, all launches and parks are within ten minutes of the house, had several questions for the host including needing an alternate route due to road closure on highway 12; Megan was quick and helpful every time. House was clean and cool, and beds were really comfortable! Only thing I would suggest is maybe a few more cooking items or being prepared with them, lack of baking sheets and baking dishes made grilling kabobs interesting lol but that was also on us for not fully preparing, but we made it work, just be prepared if you plan on doing your own cooking, aside from that and issues figuring out tv to stereo volumes which didn’t matter much since we were there mostly for the lake, it was was a clean, comfortable and close to the lake home! Would stay again.

Better than thought it would be

Clean, quiet, everything you need to stay away from home. Need to book again to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Location was a big plus for this booking and the home is quaint.

Handy and comfortable home.

This home has comfortable beds. It is spacious feeling and well equipped. We found it to be close enough to Ike Kinswa State Park that we could easily visit with our family who were camping there and feel we were part of all group activities. Yet, we had a place that was more comfy to “come home to” each nite!

Location was close to family camping at Ike Kinswa park. Property very clean and tidy. Very well stocked and comfortable. We had a little trouble with getting in using the code, but were able to use the key backup. We would stay again!

Washington trip

This was just perfect for us. It was a quit place. Great for families or like us a place to stay while doing some business. It is close to thousand trails(where my sis was staying). The Chinese food place around the corner was a great place to eat.

Quiet place with 2 bedrooms for my brother and me

We were looking for a place between the Portland airport and Olympia, where my brother and I went to a memorial service. This place is off the beaten path, but we wanted to enjoy the WA scenery and nearby state parks, which were beautiful. This place fit the bill for us with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The price was very attractive too. We would love to come back, stay longer and visit the nearby mountains!
