About the host
Hosted by Victoria Iglesias-Romo
Hi! Our family is so humbled to call this amazing property home, and we feel it a privilege (maybe even a calling) to share it with others!
Why they chose this property
Established in 1849, the award-winning Bourquin House is one of the oldest homes in Castroville, a charming European-style community known as the "Little Alsace of Texas". Founded by hardworking French immigrants, our home and surroundings allows you to step back in time to a sweeter and simpler era. Bourquin House has been featured in publications such as Texas Highways magazine and Pioneer Homes of Texas.
What makes this property unique

Guests can hike, bike, fish, explore fantastic museums, art, restaurants, and unique retail...all within a five-minute walking or driving distance! Although located only 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio, it is truly a world apart.
