We are avid rock climbers and love to travel. After traveling to many different areas around the country for climbing, we decided that the New River Gorge is our favorite place to be! We always wanted to own a home in the New River Gorge and we finally decided to go for it after the NRG became a National Park.

We are also very passionate about doing our part to reduce waste and preserve our natural environments. This conviction is mirrored in our home through choosing more sustainable options like carbon 0 soaps and detergents, and not using single use items like sponges and kuerigs.

We hope you will choose to stay at our home and share our passion for caring for the environment around us!

Equipped with every comfort needed to make your stay as excellent as possible, the Green Door Getaway has everything you need for your whole family plus all your friends! This passion was not compromised when we created the Green Door Getaway. We have chosen to spare the extra expense by providing resources such as carbon 0 soaps and detergents, bamboo paper products, and a counter top compost machine easy enough for anyone to use!
