About this property

Spacious house with stunning views @ Running Y

This is a custom-built single level home 2,800 sqft home, with spacious living room and open kitchen. Great for the chef who wants to entertain, while being part of the conversation.
There are two tables for guests to sit at and a kitchen bar. Plenty of room for family and visiting friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need to cook or bake to your hearts desire, including two ovens.
The patio is perfect for hosting family get togethers or just sitting by the fire pit. You will enjoy the gorgeous view of the Running Y resort from the patio.
There is also a set apart office area (with a sofa bed) that you could use for zoom meetings or just some quiet work. An additional private office is located in the laundry area.
There are 3 bedrooms and an office, which is the 4th bedroom with a sofa bed.

The master has its own private bathroom with a large tub and a large shower. The master bedroom connects to the gorgeous patio. Enjoy the king sized bed, while enjoying the view of Running Y out the window.
Bedroom two had another king bed with a sleep master mattress. There are children’s toys and books available in this room. The third bedroom has a queen bed. The 4th bedroom is an office and has a sofa bed with a memory foam mattress.
There is a large bathroom (with a tub and shower) in between each bedroom.
The laundry room is equipped with everything you will need, including a separate desk for those quiet calls.
We love board games and have dozens for your family to use during your stay.
We love this house and know you will love it too!

This house comes with 6 passes to the Running Y Resort fitness center and pool!

By booking you have confirmed that you have read the house rules listed below.

House Rules:
This is our dream home. Please help us take good care of it!
We are sorry but there is no smoking or vaping.

If possible, please take your shoes off at the front door.

No parties or events, including large family birthdays, reunions or memorials without prior approval. This is a quiet neighborhood and we want to respect our neighbors.

Also, only 8 guests allowed over night, including children.

Please do not have packages delivered to the house as many are delivered to the locked mailbox and you will not have access to the locked box.

We welcome up to two trained dogs in our home. If you have more dogs, you may write a request to the hosts. We provide a small inside kennel and there is also an outside kennel too. We ask that you please do not leave your dog unattended in our home and that you pick up after your furry friend. Sorry, we do not accept cats due to family allergies.

No tent camping or campers/trailers/RV allowed, due to HOA rules.

Please note: We do have a few closets locked in the house, for owner storage. The garage is also for owner storage.

This house comes with 6 passes to the Running Y Resort fitness center and pool!

Please note we have a front doorbell camera (to assist guests as needed) and one outside by the garage (side door) for safety.

We stayed here with family and our pups over the New Year. This home was very clean and comfortable and set in a beautiful location. The host was extremely communicative and responsive to any questions we had and the kitchen had everything we needed to try new recipes and cook together.

Family Trip

We had a great stay at this house. Fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Access to the pool and gym were an added bonus to our trip and we enjoyed being close to the market and restaurants in the Running Y. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck by the fire pit every night! Highly recommend staying here for any family.

Crystal's place is amazing! We loved the views perched on top of the hill overlooking the golf course. We also appreciated the proximity to the Running Y facilities. Crystal's communication and information ahead of time made for a super smooth and relaxing family vacation!

Lovely and comfortable home for a group

We were in town for a graduation and had seven adults. This was a very nice, clean, and comfortable place for us to stay. There is a great deck with a gas fire pit which made a nice place to hang out in the evenings. There is a nicely appointed kitchen, a comfortable family room with a big TV, and plenty of room for everyone to sleep. It is located in a golf resort which is very beautiful. If we come back, we will definitely look this place up again!

Perfect Christmas retreat

Our family had a wonderful time over Christmas… Crystal and her family decorated for the holidays which made the experience that much more magical not only for my kids but for all of us. We were able to easily visit with family who live nearby and relax in this spacious home. The kitchen was fully equipped for meals large and small and it was just a short walk to all of the amenities the Running Y has to offer. We also loved the fenced-in back porch that overlooked the resort, which we watched snow fall from on Christmas Eve…pure magic.

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We drove up to Crater Lake (1 hour drive), rented bikes and rode back up to Running Y neighborhood for a hilly bike ride, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the community as well as the community market and restaurant. We love the layout of the house and the beautiful deck. Everything worked well. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the bathrooms, but we stopped at the community market to get some. We would definitely come back.

I would hate to say it's excellent as I want to keep it as my secret place for beautiful vacations. :) Seriously, in every way, the place was excellent and all of the guests were very happy. The house was impeccably cleaned and maintained. There were enough dishes, bowls, pots, pans, utensils, etc. for us to use. Many of the condiments were well stocked. We had no issues at all during our stay. I highly recommend it! Crater Lake was a bit far from the house. It took us well over an hour; hence, a bit of planning may be necessary.

Thanksgiving

My family and I all stayed here for Thanksgiving and it provided the perfect location to host. With the spacious living room and dining area we were able to have all my family, plus other local relatives over with no issues when it came to space- especially in the kitchen! Crystal was an excellent host who even left out a welcome gift for us and our dog! The location is perfect if you are looking to ice skate (when open) or drive to many of the hikes in the area- we did the Skillet Handle Trail right there at the Running Y and it provided stunning views of the lake. The back deck provided a nice view of the golf course which makes it pleasant to drink coffee on in the morning along with the fire pit for evenings. Overall this house and the host are wonderful and we can't wait to book another stay in the future.

This is a big roomy house with plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was great for breakfast and dinner meals, with lunches on the go. Outside deck is large and had seating for all, with great views from it of golf course and surrounding property. The decks firepit made for comfortable nights and late-night star watching. Lower patio was not furnished. We could have carried chairs etc. down a set of stairs but we did not use it due to overgrown weeds and overall unkept condition. House is relatively close to nearby Highway 140 and morning noise from traffic was bothersome to early risers in our group. House is close enough for daylong trips to Lake-of-The-Woods Lake and Rocky Point Resort and boat launch for paddleboarding and Kayak trips. Both wonderful places.

You are our first 3 (or even 4) star review that we have ever had, so this is disappointing. We have never received complaints about the highway noise. Our house is not the closest Running Y road to the highway and we live in our house most of the year and do not hear the highway. We have also never received complaints about the lower deck because it is not a feature of the house that anyone uses, which is why it’s not in any of the pictures or even advertised. Water is expensive and we keep that part of the yard natural, to fit its surrounding with Running Y. We all use the main deck as it has the most gorgeous view of the Arnold Palmer golf course. You are the first to ever complain about the deck. I am disappointed to hear that your stay was not a 5 star, as every other guests we have had has rated it 5 star.

Absolutely incredible home for our family vacation!

The owners of the home were very communicative and wonderful to work with as we confirmed our dates of travel and and questions about available kitchen amenities. Let me tell you this home has it ALL and then some! Everything you could want or need; and all the little things you may have forgotten. From the moment we walked in the front door it immediately felt like home. The owners left us a wonderful family welcome basket that had everyone smiling! The home fit us all with room to spare; my husband and I took our 4 boys from ages 15 to 21 and everyone LOVED it! We enjoyed our evenings on the back deck with the firepit and the amazing views of the golf course and the hills and the stars at night with the moon! We golfed one day, enjoyed the pool and ate at the Ruddy duck a couple of times. We have stayed at many places over the years and this was by far the most wonderful home! Thank you again Crystal for sharing your home with us!
