Everything was clean and cozy. Excellent location. Close to campus and Water St but so quiet! Host is easy to contact and helpful. Now I know why it is so hard to find a time when it isn’t reserved!
We stayed here with our infant and it was set up perfectly for a small family. I was nervous that it would be loud with it being close to campus but it was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Loved our stay.
We love staying at The Bungalow on State! What a simply adorable home. Super close to campus, downtown, and Water Street. We love its proximity to all of the walking trails and coffee shops, cafes, amd parks that make Eau Claire so special. The home is always clean, fresh, and well maintained. It snowed quite a bit while we were in town, and they were fast to clear it without us having to ask. One quick note: if you'll be cooking much, you'll need the basics as far as seasonings and oils and condiments, etc. There is only salt and pepper and coffee/tea provided in the home.
Wonderfful location in a beautiful neighborhood with historic homes, right next to campus, walkable to downtwon, watter street, river walks, fun restauratns, etc. New construction-very comfortable! Loved my stay. I will return.
We stayed for 4 weeks and really felt at home. They anticipated our every need.. and more! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, grilling dinner, and living like a local. The area is close to everything and walking the neighborhood is a delight. I recommend it highly!
The property is beautiful and in a nice and quiet location. The only negative I have is the cleaning fee. 175.00 was pretty expensive for such a small house. Otherwise, I loved it,
Lovely place, fresh, clean, new, well stocked. The clock next to the main door doesn’t seem to work. We tried replacing the battery, but it didn’t help. We stayed two weeks and could have used a few more bars of soap. But these are minor issues. Everything else was amazing!
The house, despite its 1900 origin, is like new. Located only a block from UWEC, it was surprisingly quiet. Access to downtown or the mall is very easy. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of storage. Our only complaint was the heating. It worked, but was pretty noisy and had a hard time maintaining a consistent temperature.
Still, we were very pleased with the rental and would recommend it for a family.
