Unique cottage with lakefront in the nature reserve.
The cottage in bungalow style has a nearly 10. 000qm large property with lake / fish ponds (at the turn of the century it was the first swimming pool in town).
The house is equipped with a double bedroom, a living room with fireplace, a 2nd Living, - dining room with fully equipped kitchen with tiled stove and a bathroom with toilet / shower.
Here you are guaranteed to get away from everyday stress.
The small town of Sontra is about 1km away. Here there is a good infrastructure with all shops / medical center / pharmacies you need.
From Sontra you can make excellent day trips to Kassel (50km), Eisenach (30km), Bad Hersfeld (30km) or Fulda (80km).
In summer, Sontra offers excellent cooling in its beautiful forest swimming pool with water slides and children's pool.

Beautifull house and garden/environment

It was a wonderfull stay in the house in Sontra of Thomas Thiel. We had a little trouble finding the given address, but with help from Thomas we found it quickly. He and his son gave us a perfect tour trough the house and enormous garden. If you go there with kids in the summer, you really should go the swimming pool of Sontra! Nice place! Furthermore we have bbq’d in the garden, it was very nice.

herrliche Auszeit

Entspannung pur für meine beiden Fellnasen und mich. Bereits beim Eintreffen eine sehr herzliche Begrüßung, obwohl wir die Anreise aus gesundheitlichen Gründen mehrfach verschieben mussten. Die beiden Hunde haben sich sofort wohl gefühlt und ihre Aufgabe - Bewachung des Grundstücks alsbald übernommen - Miss Missy kam selten vor Mitternacht ins Haus zurück und konnte Ihre Bestimmung voll ausleben. Wir haben jede Sekunde genossen, kleine Ausflüge in die Umgebung unternommen und vor allem die Ruhe im und um das Haus in uns aufgesogen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen gern wieder - herzlichen Dank und Glückwunsch für so eine tolle Unterkunft!!! Kerstin und die Schäferhunde ;)

Ruhige Idylle

Sehr netter, unkomplizierter Empfang. Sehr schönes Haus auf einem riesigen Grundstück, für Hunde und vor allem für Ruhesuchende. In der kalten Jahreszeit ideal und romantisch sind das Kaminzimmer und der kuschelige Kachelofen mit Ofenbank! Ansonsten alles im Haus, was man benötigt zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen! Wir werden das Objekt auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wohl auch nochmal wiederkommen!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden und in Ordnung, gemütlich und sehr schön...vor allem das eingezäunte Grundstück. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Wir haben dieses Domizil bereits einigen Freunden weiterempfohlen.

5 Sterne – auf jeden Fall

Ein wirklich tolles Ferienhaus, sauber, besonders und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum alltäglichen Leben benötigt. Kamin und Kachelofen sorgen für eine gemütliche und angenehme Atmosphäre, gerade jetzt im Herbst genau das richtige. Auch der Außenbereich ist klasse, vor allem aufgrund der Größe ideal für Vierbeiner. Feld, Wald und Wiesen sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und laden zu kleinen oder aber auch ausgedehnten Spaziergängen ein. Insgesamt ist es sehr ruhig und zum Abschalten vom Altagsstress/-trubel bestens geeignet. Und wenn es dann doch mal zu ruhig werden sollte, setzt man sich einfach ins Auto und macht einen Städtetrip Richtung Eisenach (z.B. Drachenschlucht, Wartburg),Bad Hersfeld, Kassel (z.B. Herkules/Bergpark Wilhelshöhe) oder Fulda. Mit dem “Chalet am See” kann man nichts falsch machen. Wir waren für eine Woche hier (inkl. Dackel) und würden jederzeit gerne wieder bei Herrn Thomas Thiel einchecken. An dieser Stelle nochmal ein großes Dankeschön für den herzlichen Empfang, den reibungslosen Ablauf sowie die angenehmen und erholsamen Tage!!

Tolles Häuschen

Super tolles Häuschen, mit allem was man braucht und sehr gemütlich dazu. Das riesige Gelände läd zum spielen mit Hund ein. Die Umgebung ist Waldreich und auch aus der Vogelperspektive sehr schön ( Rundflug vom Segelflugplatz) Denke schon, an ein wiederkommen nach. LG

Toller Kurzurlaub für Hund und Herrchen

Empfang vom Eigentümer bestens, Ofen angeheizt und Schlafzimmer gelüftet! Einweisung ist erfolgt, Zuordnung Lichtschalter zu Lampen ist tricki. Leider ist das WLAN immer wieder zusammengebrochen, der Vermieter hat sich aber stets bemüht, die Aussetzer zu beheben. Das Grundstück ist für Hunde ein Traum, dort können sie sich sowohl auf der Wiese, im Hang oder zu Wasser austoben! Schade ist nur, dass das 1 ha große Grundstück auf 3 Seiten zwar bestens und unüberwindbar eingezäunt ist, aber gerade zur Straße, entlang des Weihers gibt es keinen Zaun, so dass unser Hund nach 10 min auf der Straße stand. Zum Glück ist nichts passiert! Hunde, die gerne baden, steigen auch auf der offenen Straßenseite aus, weil das wohl leichter klappt! Ansonsten war alles top, alles vorhanden. 2 Sitzecken draußen sind je nach Sonnenstand zu benutzen! Lagerfeuer und Grill geben einem ein romantisches, abenteuerliches Gefühl. Wer gerne allein sein möchte, keine nahegelegene Freizeit- oder Kulturinfrastruktur benötigt, aber gerne weit und ausgiebig spazieren gehen möchte, ist hier genau richtig!

Sehr schöner Urlaub!

Super schönes Objekt, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Nur leider zur Straßenseite kein Zaun, es ist zwar Wasser zwischen Grundstück und Straße, aber das stört einen Wasserhund nicht. Sind aber trotzdem sehr zufrieden. Erholung pur👍. Gerne wieder, wenn wir auf dieser Ecke sind.

Erholsamer Kurzurlaub

Es war wirklich ein ruhiger und sehr erholsamer Kurzurlaub. Das Grundstück und das Haus sind sehr schön. Der Vermieter sehr freundlich und der Kontakt war sehr angenehm. Das Objekt ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Traumhaft

Die herzliche Begrüßung erfolgte durch den freundlichen "Hausmeister", welcher uns eine kurze Einweisung gab. Der erste Eindruck war einfach nur überwältigend. Die Anlage, das Haus, die Lage....alles einfach nur perfekt. Bei der Ausstattung des Chalets wurde einfach an alles gedacht. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, so dass auch der Hund einen schönen Urlaub verbringen durfte! Überraschend kam der (ebenfalls sehr freundliche) Vermieter vorbei und brachte zum Geburtstag eine Flasche Wein. Unheimlich nett! :) Es wurden zwei Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt und auch für ein BBQ am Lagerfeuer ist gesorgt (Holz). Es ist alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Kurzum eben traumhaft, wir hätten uns nichts Besseres wünschen können. Deshalb haben wir auch direkt nach unserer Ankunft zuhause wieder den nächsten Urlaub dort gebucht! :) Vielen Dank an Hr. Thiel und seinem Team für diese wunderbare Möglichkeit einfach mal abzuschalten und eine tolle Zeit zu genießen.

Sehr schön und entspannend.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Unser Hund konnte auf dem großen Grundstück frei laufen, da alles eingezäunt ist. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und freundlich. Der Urlaub war wunderschön und sehr entspannend. Es war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir dort waren.

Tolle Lage, tolles Grundstück!

Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, alles da was das Herz begehrt. Das Grundstück ist riesig und für einen Urlaub mit Hund exzellent geeignet. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter! Mückenspray nicht vergessen!

Alles nötige vorhanden, super, dass Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern sind (absolut nötig). Unkompliziert bei An-und Abreise, sehr nett, mit Begrüßungsgetränk. WLAN wäre manchmal gut gewesen.
