Property was as advertised, with lots to do just within the house itself, perfect set up for 3 families to stay together with children from 10 months-13 years old.
Our family liked that the house is pet and family friendly. We felt comfortable being ourselves during our short stay. We appreciated that the host was acommodating and open to our feedback.
Really lovely property with a nice private yard, deck, and amenities. Enough things to do at the house and plenty to do around the area. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in the area.
Property was ideal for adults and children - the game room and hot tub were enjoyed by all! House was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Host was easy to contact as well.
Would highly recommend!
The house and property were better than I expected and feels very private. Property manager was great to communicate with and helped resolve some small issues. House was well stocked and a partially stocked kitchen. Local area is awesome and well worth the visit. Would definitely stay again
Lovely home in the Poconos! Something for everyone - from comfortable beds to a firepit to a lovely deck to Ms. Pacman to a thoughtfully and well-stocked kitchen. Stow was extremely responsive and welcoming. We will definitely return.
The property comfortably fit 3 families each with 2 children. While in the hot tub in the evening some deer walked right by us - that was memorable! The owner had informed us before our stay, but we spent a good amount of money on firewood for the 5 days so it’s definitely a bummer the house doesn’t provide especially in the bitter cold when we were there in December with it actively snowing. The house is so close to Big Boulder mountain which was great and about 20 minutes to Jack Frost. The Cleaning service wasn’t done until 4:15pm which was a bit annoying as it delayed our check-in. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the mountain/lake house with friends for a weekend of skiing. There was plenty of room for our three families with 6 kids. The house was clean upon arrival, had everything we needed in it to prepare meals, and had very comfortable beds. Our host was very responsive to answer any questions quickly. 5 stars!
It rained most of the time during our stay, but that did not deter us from having a great time in this gorgeous and comfortable house. The game room was fun for all, ROKU TVs in most rooms made it easy for everyone to watch what they wanted. The upper deck, the hottub, the outdoor firepit and lighting added to the allure. Hawk Falls is dog friendly too! Everyone enjoyed this vacation!
First time staying at this property and it was perfect for us. Very quiet. Early Fall. Close to plenty of attractions but we came to hike and relax. The kitchen was well prepared for making meals. House was clean, check in was a breeze, host communication was easy. Fire pit was cozy. Overall a great place!
The area around the house is a beautiful and peaceful, it bordered the woods giving it a secluded feel. The kitchen was fully stocked. The fire pit was arranged perfectly for a large group. The grandchildren loved the game room which gave us a lot of adult time. Plus…a hot tub!
I’ve been going to the mountains every year for the past 25 years and this house by far was the best place I have ever stayed.A Very clean beautiful house with wonderful surroundings. Very private and quiet. Lots of windows and space. The outdoor cafe lights, fire pit and beautiful massive trees added to the ambience. What a great house. I will definitely be staying here In the future. Thanks Stow.
Excellent property and host. Listing is a bit confusing because it states lakefront and it is not. However, the wooded lot and neighborhood was wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. Our host was not aware of the " lakefront" listing but stated he would take care of this for future guests.Could have used a few more towels. There was one small bath towel per quest and no washcloths. Otherwise, the house was very well stocked. We did not use the hot tub but the fire pit was very nice.
Great house. Close and convenient to Skiing, Tubing restaurants and market. We were so lucky to have fresh snow. Kids loved the games in the basement and build a snowman in the yard (even though they were ages 15 - 19). House was comfortable and as advertised. It is on a dead end so it is relaxing and we had a few deer visit during our stay. Owner was very easy to get in touch with. This was a very nice accommodation and would recommend it to families looking for a fun winter getaway.
The house was really cute. It was at the end of the dead end road so we had LOTS of wildlife. The house was clean but needs a little TLC. Host was very quick to respond to my questions and concerns. I wish there was more information on the listing and in the home binder such as beach access info and check-out procedures. Otherwise, a very cute house!
We loved our stay here. It was such a wonderful home, very well maintained and clean. It was in a very quiet, isolated location with no disturbances. It is at the last lot of the driveway and just outside of the town’s vacinity. The only thing was that the water came through as not very clean; however the minute i messaged the owner, he responded in seconds. Within minutes, a contractor was there to change the filters. Extremely efficient!
