Casa Relaxo can host up to 21 guests, making it perfect for unforgettable group stays. Every room features air conditioning and a private bathroom for your comfort.
Casa Relaxo is a peaceful, nature-surrounded retreat, perfect for wellness workshops, yoga sessions, family gatherings, and small celebrations. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. to ensure a relaxed atmosphere. Weddings and large parties are not allowed. We offer an in-house chef service and lagoon tours for an additional fee.
At Casa Relaxo, you’ll have the entire property to yourself—no shared spaces with other guests. Enjoy direct lagoon views, spacious gardens, and bright common areas in a private, secure setting surrounded by lush greenery.
Guests have full access to all areas of the home, including the private dock, gardens, and free parking. Kayaks and paddle boards are available at no extra cost. The house is located in a quiet gated community, so we kindly ask that you respect the community rules and quiet hours.
We’ll greet you with a warm welcome and we are available to assist with any questions. We respect your privacy, but you can reach us anytime by message or phone during your stay.
Casa Relaxo is in the peaceful village of Buenavista, about a 25-minute drive from downtown Bacalar, where you’ll find a variety of local and international restaurants. Nearby, you can visit Cenote Azul, Fort San Felipe, and the Bacalar Rapids, or take a boat or sailing tour to experience the lagoon’s brilliant turquoise waters.
The easiest way to get here is by flying into Chetumal Airport (30 min) or Cancun Airport (4 hrs). We recommend renting a car, though you can also take "El Tren Maya" (the train) to Bacalar and then a taxi to the house. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll provide detailed directions for a smooth arrival.

I chose Bacalar because it’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Mexico. The lagoon’s turquoise water, the lush nature, and the slower pace of life create the perfect setting to relax and recharge.
