Hello Manuel, We apologize for your experience at our property. Our goal is to provide every guest with comfort, availability, and consistent communication to ensure satisfaction. We sent you a message on December 13th to check in and confirm that your stay was going well; however, we did not receive a response or any notice of issues during your stay. After checkout, while our cleaning team was at the home, they reported hearing noises coming from the attic. It was determined that a squirrel had gained access through an opening near the air-conditioning hose in the backyard. This issue has since been repaired and could have been addressed sooner had we been informed. All photos posted accurately represent the home, with the exception of the living room rug, which was removed due to damage caused by a previous guest.

If your stay had been as unsatisfactory as described, we would have expected you to request an immediate refund and relocate. Both Vrbo and our property team are available to assist with refunds and alternative accommodations when concerns are reported during a stay. You mentioned finding cigarette butts outside the home; however, there were no signs of smoking inside the property. We also informed you that yard maintenance, including cleanup and mowing, is scheduled for Saturdays, and you checked in on Friday. The home is professionally treated for insects and pests every three months, with the most recent service completed in February. Additionally, you indicated that you would notify us if any issues arose the following morning, but we did not receive any calls, messages, or communication through Vrbo regarding concerns during your stay. We also noted that checkout procedures were not followed, as trash was left in rooms and bed linens were not placed in the designated areas as requested. For the past four years, we have proudly hosted guests, and our ratings reflect the quality of both the home and the experience we strive to provide. We would have gladly offered a refund or assisted you in relocating to another property at no cost had concerns been communicated during your stay. You chose to remain in the home and utilize its amenities, and only after checkout raised these concerns and requested a refund. While we sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, we stand by our property and our commitment to our guests. We understand that not every stay will satisfy every guest.
