About this property

Poolside Granite Resort on the Way to Yosemite

**We are new hosts to VRBO and had trouble migrating our calendar, hence the cancellation. We have been Super Hosts for years. WE LOOK FORWARD TO HOSTING YOU!***

We share 10 acres of Coarsegold Creek w/wildlife galore. Yosemite entrance is a 54 min drive, 50 more min to the valley floor. Perfect stop for Mother Lode or Yosemite travel, central for travel throughout CA. Property, pool/hottub, is perfect retreat! Our studio is a separate space from main house, off back of garage (26’ x 8’, w/double bed, double futon, microwave, fridge, coffee, NEWLY ADDED private bathroom). Non smoking. Guests have access to pool and surrounding area, courtyard patio, microwave, and small refrigerator in the room. Guests are also welcome to hike our property and granite formations in the Coarsegold creek.

We greet all of our guests and show them around. Ideally, if guests aren't too tired from travels, we would love to hear about their travels and share a few local tips. However, as two teachers, we too are both busy at times. Either way, guests will immediately feel welcomed to put their feet up and enjoy the amenities.

Our community has about one of anything you need and nothing you don't need. A grocery store, pub, gas station, and three eating establishments are within a couple of miles. We are remote, but surrounded by about 1000 other homes. Our community is located within 30 minutes of Sierra Nevada camping and RIverpark shopping and restaurants. The foothills of the Sierra are beautiful year round.

Yosemite Stay

This property was beautiful and provided a great desert oasis. The indoor space is small and sweet, just enough space to sleep comfortably each night. The outdoor space was relaxing and fun to explore. A bit of a hike from Yosemite NP but a beautiful drive.

What a lovely little property in the amazing grounds of an even nicer bigger property! Rhonda made our Christmas stay extra special with little touches and she is fab! So laid back and friendly, just what you need when staying at a bnb on someone’s property. This part of the area is lovely too with a gorgeous sunrise view from outside your cabin. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Amazing Tranquil Stay

We went with our two daughters and it was perfect! It is a about 45 min drive to South Gate. There isn’t a lot of stores around but we were given a heads up about that. It was perfect paradise for us because after a whole day of venturing around, the pool and jacuzzi allowed us to wind down and relax. You have an amazing view (all land) and during the night, you can see the stars. The room is as described. It is small, but everything you need is there. Mac, the dog was an amazing host. He greeted us, never begged for food, well behave and honesty, a great companion for our girls. Some suggestions to guests. Bring lots of snacks, food and drinks because it’s secluded. Rhonda was great. Very friendly and respectful of our space. We usually got the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves. We would definitely come back!
