Thank you for the review Amber. Beth and I are happy that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have you as guests again soon. Thank you again for the 5 star review.
Great location close to Torch Lake and Charlevoix. The cottage had everything we needed although we didn’t spend much time there because we were mostly out and about. We had a little trouble with the keypad but the host was very responsive. We would stay again if we want to be close to torch lake but it was a little pricey compared to other places we have stayed up north.

Comfortable beds, would not consider “family friendly” if you have very young children. No kid dishes as listed and garbages did not have lids. Overall nice place just didn’t fit our family’s needs

Thank you for your feedback! We're happy to hear you found the beds comfortable and enjoyed your overall experience. We sincerely apologize for the missing amenities, specifically the lack of children's dishes and the non-lidded garbage can. We appreciate you bringing these points to our attention. We will definitely take your comments into consideration as we evaluate and improve our offerings for all guests, especially families with young children.
This is in north Torch lake. With a nice public access spot close. Conveniently located to go to the bay or the lake. Great communication. Nice place to stay

You definitely get your money's-worth with this property! It's been updated, and the addition of window A/C units in each bedroom makes it a comfortable stay. Kitchen is well-stocked, all of our needs were definitely met, traveling with two grade-school age children. I do want to point out, for future families, this property does not have direct beach access and is situated at a busy and loud intersection. The closest Torch Lake access is boat ramp access, not a place to swim or to call a beach. It is located near US 31 and M 88 which gives easy driving to many local beaches, lakes, and activities. We especially enjoyed visiting Friske, just up the road.

Thank you for the review. It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay, especially the recent updates and the window A/C units in each bedroom. It's always good to know the kitchen amenities met your family's needs, especially with grade-school age children.
The review highlighted location details for future guests, specifically regarding the property's setting at the intersection of US 31 and M 88, as well as the proximity to various local beaches and activities. It's great that you found it convenient for exploring the area and enjoyed visiting nearby Friske Farm Market.
While the immediate Torch Lake access at the property is primarily a boat ramp, it's good to hear you made the most of the convenient access to other beaches and lakes in the area. Hopefully, your family made lasting memories during your visit, and we would be happy to welcome you back in the future!
Cottage Camping. Our grandchildren wanted us to go camping so they went camping across the street
Our Son and his family went camping across the street from our cottage at Barnes park camp grounds. Great family trip. Our cottage was great! Definitely my kind of camping. Very nice cottage. Would stay again and recommend it to friends and others.

Amazing Host!
I loved everything about my trip the lakes were close. The cafe across the street is amazing. Live entertainment and really good food. Fresh food options around. I will be back.
Host were great at responding and very nice.
Very clean up to date house. We were looking for a home base the explore the area. Lots of nice beaches and parks near by. Property sets a little ways off the intersection of 2 main roads. Shut the blinds and you wouldn't know it. It's a good place to stay to explore the Lake Michigan area. Very friendly and responsive host!

My wife and I have loved Northern Michigan our entire lives. With our five boys and one girl, we've spent countless summers and winters here, making the most of everything this beautiful area has to offer as a family. Whether it's fishing, swimming, boating, golfing, skiing, or simply searching the shoreline for Petoskey Stones, we've created unforgettable memories. We're thrilled to share our cottage with guests who want to create their own special moments with loved ones.
