We had a great time staying here! The place was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We really enjoyed our time and had lots of fun, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Friends weekend

Got together with a couple friends and really enjoyed the property. Was perfect and still close enough to the Dells area (15 mins or so) with a great yard for hanging around a bonfire.

We had a wonderful time with our kids it was the perfect spot with great fishing and it’s only 10 minutes from wisconsin dells! We would highly recommend this property! Great family bonding and really relaxing!

We loved the property. It is very well remodeled and very clean both inside and out. I spent a beautiful weekend with my family. We enjoyed the place very much and I am sure that we would return in the future and of course I recommend it.

Inside awesome, Outside under construction

When we pulled in it was obvious they were re-siding the house and remodeling the exterior which was not noted in the listing and that first impression made us very nervous about what we had just booked. But, the inside was absolutely wonderful and kudos to whoever was in charge of the interior remodeling project. The back yard leading down to the river was really picturesque but the grass was way past due for a mowing and initially made the mosquito problem worse than it would have otherwise been. However, one call to our host and she had a mower there the next morning. Thank you for that! The beds were outstanding. The AC was working fine and gave us a nice relief from the hot muggy weather that week. Although our fishing at the river was limited to the shoreline, us guys had fun when time allowed. Caught 2 smallmouth and 1 northern. Be prepared to fend off the mosquitos which the owner has no control over. The backyard fire pit and chairs were really awesome. We grilled steaks one night but I first had to do a serious cleaning of the provided grill. We found that all the amenities were nicely covered except for not being able to find an ironing board. Overall, once the exterior remodeling is finished, cleaned up, and maintained, I would be giving and overall excellent rating.

Not As Advertised & Ants

The outside of the house was still having new siding put on. The siding and equipment was there on the property. It was unsightly and a bad first impression. The host didn't give us the code before we got there. They eventually did message it to us after we called customer support, which took about 20-30 minutes after check in. The WiFi password was incorrect. We had to play a 20 minute guessing game to get it figured out. We messaged the host and they didn't respond at all. Thankfully we figured it out because there is no service near the property. The inside was ok, but there were ants that got into our food, ruining some of it. There was also sand on the floor and sunflower seeds in the pull out sofa. We swept three times before it was clean. Overall, it was fine, but we wouldn't have booked this place if we knew they were actively residing it and that it would have ants. For what this cost, we could have booked a nicer place where we could enjoy being outside without staring at an unsided house. I wouldn't recommend it until it's finished and even then, you should be wary since they don't seem to clean very thoroughly. We didn't receive any check out instructions either, so we did what we had been instructed to do at other properties we rented.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect place for my family to spend our vacation. There was a big yard for the kids to run around and play. The men were able to grill the whole time we were there, and they really liked how the propane grill cooked the food. We were also able to enjoy the fire pit at night time. The enclosed porch was a cozy place to have our morning coffee. We loved how this rental had absolutely everything we could think of. There were even board games/family friendly games provided. Plenty of sheets/blankets for each room. And we were only 20 mins away from Wisconsin Dells. Would definitely stay here again!
