Modern meets history. Spend a relaxing family holiday in the idyllic holiday resort of Oberndorf an der Oste. You can reach the North Sea in just 2o minutes by car.
The large holiday home (DHH) has modern, cosy furnishings and scores points with the large amount of space on around 100 sqm of living space. The small garden area and a terrace are for the exclusive use of the guests. Garden furniture and a barbecue are available.

For cooler evenings, the holiday home has central heating and a wood-burning stove in the living room, which radiates cosy warmth.
You can relax on the large lounge area or enjoy an evening in front of the TV, while the new sauna (infrared) provides special relaxation opportunities. This is not a communal sauna but is available for private use in the house.

The large kitchen is fully equipped and offers a dining area for up to 6 (or 7) people. Equipment includes: Oven, ceramic hob, kettle, coffee machine (filter coffee), dishwasher, fridge, freezer. The tumble dryer (heat pump dryer) is also integrated in the kitchen.
The washing machine is located in the bathroom (guest WC) on the ground floor.

Two bedrooms are located on the upper floor (2 x 3-bed rooms, bed dimensions 90 x 200, 1 x double bed 180 x 200).

The bathroom with bathtub and shower is also on the upper floor.

Further equipment features are listed in the additional information. 1 x mobile air conditioner/fan available in the bedroom. The house is only partially suitable for small children due to the stairs. Dog possible for an extra charge.
WLAN is available in the house.
The house was originally built around 1900 and was completely renovated and continuously improved in 1997.
We have taken care to ensure that many of the original materials have been replaced as faithfully as possible.
Among other things, the house has high ceilings/room heights, a wooden beamed ceiling and a wooden staircase. The creaking of the wood in the house cannot be ruled out.
The surrounding area is ideal for long bike rides.

There is a playground and football pitch for children nearby. There are a variety of inexpensive offers for families in the immediate vicinity, e.g. Wingst: Wingst play park, with summer toboggan run, tree ropes course, zoo, outdoor pool / indoor pool with 100 metre slide. Minigolf, excursions on the Oste are possible from Oberndorf with the passenger ship Mocambo.

Notes from the landlord

Please obtain wood for the stove from DIY stores or supermarkets.
The wooden beamed ceiling and stairs are made of wood and can creak.
Service charges are calculated according to consumption and are to be paid in cash.
Youth groups are not permitted.

The holiday home is located in a small village in the countryside. A walk through the idyllic village with its historic buildings promises relaxing hours away from mass tourism.

Dog owners, please note the house rules.
The house is not suitable for people with physical disabilities. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor.
