About this property

Guest House in the Heart of the Alphabet District- Monthly rental only

Quiet 2 story guest house for long-term rental. Great for remote work. Just steps away from NW 21st, NW 23rd, great restaurants, shopping, public transit, and Good Samaritan Hospital. Can walk to Forest Park, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, Washington Park and the Pearl District. The main floor has a living room with a TV and work/dining table. Sunny upper level has a full kitchen, bath and sleeping area. The guesthouse is secured behind a locked gate. The street is generally pretty quiet. We unfortunately do not have guest parking, but there is plenty of on-street parking. On-street parking fees exist Monday-Saturday, 9am-7pm. No fees on Sundays or between 7pm-9am.
We love long-term renters. Please ask about a discount if you are interested in staying 2 months or longer.

Amazing Hosts would stay again!

Alisa and Kim are great, very friendly and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and helped me with parking in the city. The guest home is perfect for one to two people and the location is within walking distance of so many great restaurants and parks. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Portland.

Amazing stay!

We stayed in this property for 3.5 months during a travel therapy contract. Alisa & Kim were so kind, always offering their help/assistance while also giving us plenty of space. The unit was equipped with everything we could need for a long stay. All new appliances, plenty of closet/storage and a cozy living area.

Clean and walkable to a lot of locations

My boyfriend and I recently stayed for a few days and we had everything we needed. The property is clean and we were able to walk to a lot of restaurants/activities we had on our to-do list. Overall, a great experience.

Our family lives in the main house on the property. We are usually around and can engage as little or as often as you wish. We use the driveway in front of the guest house, so you may see us coming and going.
My husband and I grew up in Canada and moved to Portland almost 25 years ago. We love it here and can't imagine living anywhere else.

Why they chose this property

The house is in a great location, close to restaurants, shops and public transit. It's very well situated for accessing all that Portland has to offer. If you don't mind walking, you can walk to many of the great Portland sights, like Forest Park, Pittock Mansion, the Rose Garden, Japanese garden, downtown and the waterfront. The streetcar or bus is only a block away, and the MAX is about 10 blocks.
The guest house is a separate building with a private entrance. It is behind a locked gate, so it's safe and very private.

What makes this property unique

Location! You really can't beat it! Close to many of Portland's wonderful offerings.
