Newly renovated lake house with everything you need including TV's in every room and a well stocked kitchen. Enjoy snowmobiling, hunting, boating, golfing, hiking or just relaxing by the lake. There is a great restaurant just down the road along with a convenience store and gas station. Portage Hills Country Club is just up the hill for the golfers in the family. Everything you'd need for a great get away is at your fingertips.

Annual summer vacation

Matt's place is perfect for our family. This is our second year staying and will be back again next year. Kids enjoyed kayaking, s'mores at the fire pit, fishing and swimming.

My family had a wonderful stay in Portage Lake. This home was right on the lake with wonderful amenities such as a fire pit, corn hole, hammocks, and a gas grill! Plenty of seating for guests to relax and enjoy. Inside was very clean and decorated beautifally with a lake house theme. Matt, our host, made check in seamless.We are ready to book again for next year!!

Great Moose Hunting Camp!

This camp was perfect for our moose hunt. You can literally see the access road to the North Maine Woods from the driveway. Plenty of parking, and great view of Portage Lake. The camp was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer stay. A week isn't long enough.

North Maine Woods Getaway

The house was very clean as always and I enjoyed the festive fall decor! What always impresses me is that they have anything you would need or forget at home on hand. Chargers, cooking utensils, etc. The property is very well equipped for a comfortable stay!
