Lake Shipp House with pool and dock on the water

Fully furnished single story home on Lake Shipp; has boat dock, inground heated swimming pool. Two bedrooms (king & queen), two baths plus a queen murphy bed in living room. Three seasons room walks out to pool/lanai area then out to private beach and dock. Waterski/barefoot/wakeboard, fish, kayak or SUP from your back door - nearby slalom courses for water skiers. Home includes towels, bedding, kitchenware, laundry & even beach towels. Also two bikes available for your use.

LegoLand is minutes away, Disneyworld 33 miles. Great boating & skiing. YouTube TV and internet.

Call Jeff if you're interested in renting during a blocked period (Oct to May). No pets, animal free zone due to severe allergies. Outdoor security cameras mounted at the front door, in the carport and in the screened in room specifically to see exterior doors and the pool.

Very beautiful home. The decor inside is nice for a house on a lake. And the view from the back patio to the lake is very calming. Look forward to future stays for little weekend getaways with the kids. Pool was there favorite part along side the wild life we saw.

Great stay, house is very well set up for a family and kitchen fully stocked! Beds were so comfortable! House was clean and we very much enjoyed the screened in pool! We will be back when visiting again!

Loved the Shipp House

We had a wonderful stay at the Shipp House. Loved the pool with a great view of the lake. Owners have all the amenities you need for your stay. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and even pool towels. Lots of great restaurant options in Winter Haven and lots to do in the area We will go back again!

Great Lake House

We stayed at the Lake Shipp house for a week in July. The pool and the lake view make this the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Winter Haven is just a few minutes away with many dining and shopping options. The check in/out was extremely easy and the house was exactly as described. Thank you for a great stay!

A great place to stay

We loved it. Great views of the lake, wonderful heated pool and deck, bright breakfast nook, excellent tv, dual showerheads. Many nice touches. Loved that the kitchen was so well stocked with snacks and basics like steak sauce and butter.

Amazing property beautiful views house was clean, beds amazingly comfortable. within five minutes of Legoland centrally located. The host was very informative and accommodating. This place was so neat. It was like being on paradise Island. The host was so informative and ensure that we checked in and out provided us with all the services that you can imagine. The neighbors were wonderful as well. We really enjoy having a heated pool with lights fishing duck where you can be in the pool, and it was amazing

Nice getaway

This was a great place to relax after spending long days in nearby theme parks. Our family wanted the experience of Disney with quiet time in the evenings and this provided the perfect atmosphere to do that. The lake in the backyard was peaceful and visits from the neighborhood ducks kept the kids entertained! When we visit Florida again, we will reach out to see if this home is available.

Great pool home on lake Shipp.

We had a wonderful time. My husband and I and our 2 grandchildren. The house was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable. Pool clean and welcoming. We would love to come for many more stays. Can’t say enough about the quality of the home and amenities.

Just book it!

The house was SUPER clean, beds and furniture were all very comfy, the pool was a much needed amenity at the start and end of each day, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals and it was in a great location for everything we needed. It was only about 14 minutes from Legoland which gave us the perfect spot to get to and from the park but still have our own little retreat. I can't recommend it more!

Nice Lake House!

Perfect house for a short lake getaway! I was impressed how clean and organized the house was and it has everything you’d need for a week long stay! Very nice pool and beautiful view of the lake. Great location on Lake Shipp for boating the Chain of Lakes. We brought our boat and the dock and beach area were perfect for mooring it. Great fishing too! I highly recommend staying here if you you’re bringing a boat. There’s so much water to explore. No complaints at all. Great stay!

Weekend getaway

Property was clean and well kept for the most part, some dishes needed washed before using which is common when the property isn’t used often. Was disappointed that the pool was definitely not heated like listed and the hot tub that was listed also not available for use. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Had we known about your desire for a heated pool, we would have made sure it was ready for you. Regarding the dishes, we do apologize for any inconvenience. With the property being vacant for some time, it’s possible that some items weren't cleaned to our usual standard. Lake Shipp Getaway

Really enjoyed our time at this property. First and foremost, the owners are very pleasant to deal with and made the process very easy. Very clean and nice roomy house with current appliances. Pool and lighting was definitely an added plus and the backyard was large enough for us to play cornhole that we brought along. Dock is right on the lake with plenty of wildlife, fishing and skiers. Plenty of local restaurants around the lake and surrounding lakes for local eateries to choose from. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

4th of July Trip

We were looking for a local lake house and found this gem. On a lake, with a pool, full kitchen and a dock. There is an amazing jetski rental on Lake Shipp called Scooters Rental. Jay is a very knowledgeable person of the lakes and with water skies. Next to Legoland which was a 15 minute drive. This location has it all for a great price! We will be back!

Beautiful pool home on Lake Shipp!

Very clean, roomy, comfy and relaxing home. Clean swimming pool with lighting to swim at night! My 2 young Grandchildren loved swimming everyday and fishing off the dock. Special times and memories for a lifetime. Watched ducks, birds and enjoyed seeing a soft shelled turtle in the backyard! Home is well stocked with all the essentials that you would need! Loved the very convenient washer & dryer on the premises. It was our 2nd time we’ve stayed and hope to stay again! It’s definitely a 10 out of 10 rating! I will recommend to friends and family. Susan

Winter Haven is known for its canal-linked Chain of Lakes. Several lakes have waterside parks and eateries, as well as boat ramps and water-sports rentals. Legoland Florida Resort includes Cypress Gardens, a 1930s botanical garden, and Lego-brick attractions, rides and a water park. West of the city, Circle B Bar Reserve has forest trails and alligator-inhabited wetlands. This property affords you all these attractions via walk, car, bicycle or boat!
