Relaxing home on wooded hillside lot in Eagle Rock Resort - E. R. Owners Only
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: Eagle Rock Resort is a private gated community, so you must be an Eagle Rock/DD Resort Lot Owner (“Member”) or a Member’s accompanied family or guest to rent this property. The Owner/Member must have your name put on the guest list at the guard house; we will not. If you do not understand what this means, contact me before booking. This requirement is non-negotiable. Please provide proof of ownership and ID reflecting minimum renting age of 28 when submitting a booking request. Thank you.
2025 UPDATE: We are now offering linens and towels for an additional $150 per stay. For those interested, please indicate your desire for this option when booking and we will adjust your booking price accordingly.
The "Perch on Quapaw" is nestled on a partially wooded, beautifully landscaped lot in the gated community of Eagle Rock outside of Hazleton, PA; just minutes from I-81. Our home is a three story, three bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2 car garage stone front home, located 1 mile to the Lake Beach and less than .6 miles to the Base Ski Lodge.
The main floor contains a 2-story living room with a propane fireplace, a large dining area with sliding doors to a generously-sized patio that overlooks the woods, a spacious kitchen with two ovens, and a large game room containing a regulation size C.L. Bailey pool table, 55-inch 4K TV, comfortable seating, and a Juliet-type balcony with scenic views from the front of the house.
Upstairs, you will find the master suite, complete with a king-size bed, a full-size sleeper loveseat, a dresser/TV stand with a 43-inch 4K TV, a walk-in closet, and a master bath with a large luxurious walk-in shower with multiple heads. The second bedroom contains a queen bed, a dresser with a 32-inch TV, and a folding twin bed in the closet for those extra guests. As for the third bedroom, it is fitted with a full size day bed, as well as a folding twin cot in the closet.There is also a dresser with 32-inch TV. Both bedrooms have direct access to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom. And lastly for the upper level, just off the balcony area that overlooks the living room, is a small office, for those unfortunate enough to have to work on their respite.
(Guests must bring their own sheets and towels, as linens are NOT provided.)
Moving to the lower level, there is a generously-sized private living area just off of the 2-car garage, complete with two sofas (one being a queen sleeper) and a spacious full bathroom with walk-in shower. For your entertainment, there is a 43-inch 4K TV, an electronic dart board, and a small foosball table. Outside, the patio is provided with 8 chairs, 2 tables, and fire pit for your enjoyment. (Bring your own wood).
Our goal is to provide a vacation home as appealing to you as it is to us. If there is anything you feel that is missing, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please Note: This is not a “party” rental. Excessive partying is not tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund. All renters who sign the rental agreement must be at least 28 years old and must remain at the resort for the duration of the stay. Additionally, please do not move the furniture or an additional charge will be levied. The house should be left in the condition you found it upon your arrival.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Reset central air: 80 for A/C in summer; 65 for heat in winter. Make sure fireplaces are off (in winter). Close and lock all windows.
Place all trash, including all food (not the condiments that were in the fridge when you arrived) in the large cans in the garage; take to street for pick up on Mondays; even if checking out later.
Leave house as you found it, including furniture, kitchen appliances, utensils, plates/bowls, glasses, etc. Clean up spills and debris. Our cleaner focuses on sanitization, not cleaning up after you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
