I stayed at this house with my husband and two kids (ages 7 and 11) and our dog for a family getaway to Asheville and to visit the Biltmore. The upstairs was great for the kids, though note that there is not a door at the bottom or top of the stairs. The fenced yard is on the smaller side, but great for letting the dog out. The house is close to great restaurants and a quick drive to Biltmore. I somehow got our checkout date wrong in my head and the property manager was incredibly kind about it. Overall great place for a visit to Asheville!
Overall our stay was great! Upstairs was a little warm but we were able to cool it down at night with fans and opening windows! Also the tv upstairs was missing a remote. The beds were very comfortable! We ran out of hot water quickly when everyone needed to get ready. The kitchen and gathering spaces were very roomy and we had all the utensils we needed to make several meals! The location was pretty good(not too far from all the things we were doing). The yard was a little small and the driveway narrow and steep but we made it work!
The house was very comfortable especially the beds. Kitchen well stocked including some spices. Since we only stayed one night, it was nice not to have to worry about TP and paper towels as there was plenty. Finding a place for 2 dogs was most impressive and the fenced yard worked well. We enjoyed our night.
We really enjoyed our stay in this Asheville bungalow. It was very convenient to all our activities. The host was thoughtful and provided extra amenities we enjoyed like the popcorn machine. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms have been recently updated. Would stay here again!
I specifically decided on this place for the popcorn machine ( my son and mother in law have popcorn party every night ) and the oatmeal bar. ( My daughter loves oatmeal!) The beds were amazing. Usually when you stay in an air b n b the beds have lumps or spots from previous people but these were so comfortable! The fire place was amazing! (It heats the house up quick!) Not to far from the locations we visited! Looks small from the outside but super big on the inside! Highly recommend! Will most definitely be back!
The house was just perfect for our family's Christmas get together. The house was clean and spacious with extremely comfortable beds, even in the upstairs kids area. The linens were high quality and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Close to Asheville center but in a quiet neighborhood.Would book again!
Spacious and clean home. We had plenty of space to spread out and several rooms where we could gather together to talk, play games and watch movies. The kitchen and home were stocked with everything we needed.
We wanted to be close to the River Arts district and downtown. It felt like we were close to everything Great place.
The property met our needs of a place to stay for 4 adults and 2 dogs with a fenced yard. However, the AC does not work properly. The unit was on, but no cool air flowed from the vents, so it was very warm the whole weekend. The house has fans and a window unit upstairs. The furniture was not very sturdy: a friend sat on one of the couches and the front corner buckled. Their bedframe was also cracked/broken when we arrived.
I messaged the host on Friday with a question and on Saturday to alert them of the issues we found and did not receive a reply about either. I received check out instructions but no mention of my previous messages, so I'm assuming it was an automatic one.
The house is cute and met our basic needs, but if you run hot like I do, I would not recommend staying here.
The house worked well for our family. The beds and other furniture was comfortable. There were board games for kids, a giant Jenga set and other games to play which was a nice touch. The back yard was peaceful too.
Loved the house. Nicely decorated. Good space, plenty of room for our family of four adults. The thermostat was a little difficult to figure out. Otherwise a great place. Would stay here again.
This property was perfect for my husband and me and our two adult daughters. With three sleeping areas and two and a half baths, each of us had privacy and plenty of room. The openness of the kitchen and two sitting areas gave us plenty of space to watch TV, work remotely, and relax. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we had a nice, relaxing stay. We were sorry to have to leave. We would definitely stay there again.

Difficult to review
I have pondered how to review this house. We rented it because of the 5 star reviews. It was listed as a 3 bedroom with a loft that my 9 yr old grandson was so excited about. However that was unusable because it could not be cooled. The a/c which did not cool below 75 downstairs did not cool at all up there! There were small fans everywhere. When I contacted the owner he offered to lower the thermostat but didn’t. The second time he just offered a refund for us to leave or another fan. Really! I never mentioned that the ice maker didn’t work. Also on two mornings we literally had to prime one of the toilets to get it to flush. Felt like camp. Having said this the beds were comfy even though my daughter and I had to sleep together!
We had a great time. The house was just the right space. Close enough to Asheville and Biltmore but also secluded enough. We would stay here again if we are back in Asheville.
