My family stayed here for a month and it really became a home away from home. The house is clean, well decorated and well stocked. The beds are all comfortable. Having two different living spaces was great. The house is very conveniently located to either downtown Asheville or West Asheville, which was another plus. The yard area was great for our dog. There are two porches, which we enjoyed, but wish there was more comfortable porch furniture. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful for anything that we needed. We loved being in this house for a month and would definitely come back!
Inside of house was accurately reflected online. It was clean and welcoming. The outside landscaping/bushes desperately need some TLC - very overgrown.
Great property and exactly what was described - a lot of rental properties and photos and descriptions that do not match the actual report condition itself but this was not the case. Very clean and comfortable, very dog friendly which was nice for us. Will absolutely look to stay here again next time we’re in town
We really enjoyed our stay in this Asheville bungalow. It was very convenient to all our activities. The host was thoughtful and provided extra amenities we enjoyed like the popcorn machine. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms have been recently updated. Would stay here again!
This home we so comfortable! The outside landscaping needed some work, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, stocked with anything we’d need, and so cozy. We drove into town, which took no time, and were around the best restaurants! We want to come back for sure. Just a note for those with littles, the 3rd bedroom upstairs handles three beds, which is great, but there is no door at the bottom or top of the stairs. Had to keep an eye on our toddler. Everyone loved this place. It was perfect on our drive back home from a beach vacation - when we all wanted our own space :)
Place was well stocked and had all the amenities listed. There could be a tad more attention given to the outdoors and a couple of broken items in the home. These things would not prevent us from staying here again.
Unfortunately, this property was the first disappointing home I have stayed in using VRBO. From the beginning there was a lack of communication from the owner with simple questions sent pre-arrival that were never answered. Upon arrival the landscaping & yard were so overgrown that we could not enjoy the outdoor spaces. It's very obvious that the photos of the property are quite dated and not an accurate reflection of the current state of the property. Additional concerns included a lack of cleanliness including vents covered in hair and numerous cosmetic repairs that were needed (broken handles, loose screens, ripped furniture fabric, missing pieces of flooring, burnt out light bulbs, etc). From the posted photos this home was obviously once loved, but has since fell into disrepair. Overall, I would not stay at this home again, nor recommend it.
The house was very comfortable especially the beds. Kitchen well stocked including some spices. Since we only stayed one night, it was nice not to have to worry about TP and paper towels as there was plenty. Finding a place for 2 dogs was most impressive and the fenced yard worked well. We enjoyed our night.
I stayed at this house with my husband and two kids (ages 7 and 11) and our dog for a family getaway to Asheville and to visit the Biltmore. The upstairs was great for the kids, though note that there is not a door at the bottom or top of the stairs. The fenced yard is on the smaller side, but great for letting the dog out. The house is close to great restaurants and a quick drive to Biltmore. I somehow got our checkout date wrong in my head and the property manager was incredibly kind about it. Overall great place for a visit to Asheville!
The house was just perfect for our family's Christmas get together. The house was clean and spacious with extremely comfortable beds, even in the upstairs kids area. The linens were high quality and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Close to Asheville center but in a quiet neighborhood.Would book again!
