Winterurlaub

Wir wissen jetzt, wie es früher gewesen sein muss in solch einem alten Haus zu leben. Am Tag der Anreise wurde die Heizung erst angestellt, somit hatten wir in der Wohnung gerade die Außentemperatur erreicht als wir angekommen sind. Durch die Nachtabsenkung wurde die Situation nicht besser. Erst bei der Abreise nach 3 Nachten hatte sich eine erträgliche Raumtemperatur eingestellt. Die alten Möbel passen zu der Wohnung, am Esstisch kann man aber nur eingeschränkt sitzen, da nicht sehr viel Platz zwischen der unteren Tischverzierung und der Sitzfläche der Stühle vorhanden ist. Die Wohnung ist sehr schlecht beleuchtet, so dass es nur am Esstisch möglich war Brettspiele zu spielen. Die Deckenlampe in der Küche leuchtet den Raum (Arbeitsfläche) leider nicht aus. Die Zusatzlampe für das Kochfeld hatte kein Leuchtmittel und auch im Backofen gab es keine Beleuchtung. Wir konnten uns mit Taschenlampen helfen. Wir können die Wohnung für dunkle, kalte Wintertage nicht empfehlen.

Besondere Unterkunft in schöner Region.

Für unseren Kurzurlaub war diese außergewöhnliche Unterkunft genau das Richtige. Das denkmalgeschützte Herrenhaus ist beeindruckend, der alte Haubarg (mit Galerie) eine Sehenswürdigkeit und der Garten mit Skulpturenpark (und liebenswerten Kätzchen) bezaubernd. Ein Highlight: Das Abendessen in der Brasserie im Haubarg. Das Herrenhaus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Halbinsel Eiderstedt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
