Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This 4 bedroom home is perfect for the whole family. This waterfront property is located on an acre lot in a quiet and peace cove on beautiful Lake Sara.

Rent a pontoon, spend some time at the beach or go to the waterfront bars and restaurants. It’s the perfect getaway.

Visit our lakeside bars and restaurants and you will truly feel like you are on a tropical getaway.

On the property, you will have access to use our bouncy house, corn hole set, kids bikes, kids toys, books and board games. We also have excellent Wifi, our Fire TVs and a designated workspace.

We have a brand new dock. We have inflatable kayaks, inflatable tubes, noodles, and sand toys that you can use or take to the beach.

Great stay. Perfect place for a family stay. Loved the easy access to the water. The new dock is awesome. Beds were comfy and lots of indoor activities if weather chases you in. Grill and griddle worked wonderfully. So glad that we found this place!

Great Stay

Our family enjoyed our stay on Lake Sara. Dock was great and we even caught Nov Fish. We really liked the gaming table. Neighborhood was quiet. Easy to get to T-town and Dietrich for our family thanksgivings.

Lovely lake home!

Had such a great time at this property. Tucked away in a quiet cove. Tons of activities for the kids to play with. They r specially loved the sandpit by the dock. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Family Gathering

House was large enough for our group of 8 adults and a toddler. Kitchen is well stocked as we made all of our meals. The toys, gaming table, foosball and basketball games were a nice extra. We may meet up at the house again next summer to take advantage of the outdoor space.

Perfect Fall Stay

The house was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of entertainment, including a basketball game in the master bedroom, numerous board games, and a game table that kept us entertained. The lake was stunning, with all of the trees changing colors, and it was quite peaceful. The location was convenient; it was not far from town, and there was a dollar store just down the road for a quick run to pick up any missed items. I would definitely stay here again.

Lake house

We rented this home for the weekend. We were there for a wedding. We needed a place close to the venue that accepted small dogs. The property was very clean and stocked for our needs. Unfortunately, it was cold so we couldn't enjoy the outside amenities. I would rent this property again if we're in the area in the future.

Family weekend

Host was easy to contact and quick response. House had everything that was listed and well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. Lots of things for kids and teens to keep them busy. Great new dock and lots of water toys. Enjoyed the fire pit and lawn chairs. Great having having to bring your own chairs. Only thing it needed was the lawn mowed and the screened in porch cleaner. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend for a nice relaxing getaway with or without family.

Beautiful, Cozy, Spacious, AMAZING

This was our first stay at this particular property. I booked it last minute for overdue time away. It was absolutely what I needed. Beautiful home nestled on a quiet cove, the host was extremely prompt in replying to questions. I could not have stayed at a better place and I've stayed at quite a few on Lake Sara. The first night we knew we would be back and enjoy many more at the property. A+++

quite neighborhood

Inside the house was newly painted and fresh. The outside was a mess, landscaping was not completed. The owner met a landscape contractor while we were there to get the landscaping started so that should be taken care of shortly. All in all, a nice little place to have some laughs and get away from the grind.

Disappointing.

The house all in all is very nice. The beds are very comfortable and screened porch is a nice additional space. The kitchen is stocked with adequate cooking supplies. Cove is great for swimming, very private, and the new dock is great!!! We swam and fished every day. My grandchildren caught their first fish. The house is clean, but could use a little attention to the deep cleaning details baseboards, under furniture etc. Lake Sara offers many different activities, golfing, boating, and is close to Effingham for groceries and restaurants. Pinky's is a fun restaurant experience and the Rusty Reel great place to rent a pontoon to tour the lake. I would suggest making it more clear to renters that the 10-person capacity is a hard max as the listing implies that additional guest and visitor are a possibility.
