We are right on the river, close to the Gulf of Mexico, East Matagorda Bay, and West Matagorda Bay. All your fishing experiences in one place! Short drive to Matagorda Beach, too. House has all the amenities you would expect and the outdoor pavilion is an incredible space to grill the days catch and watch amazing sunsets.

We had a great quick stay with kids. Everything is set up nicely, the hosts are gracious and quick to communicate with, and the boat dock is great for fishing and for relaxing.

Perfect stay on the river!!

The home was so clean and fresh, and had a perfect setup for a family stay. The property owner was very helpful and made himself available in case we needed anything during our stay. The view off the deck was unreal, and my brother loved fishing off the dock the entire week. It is easy to run into town or head out to the beach, the location is right in the center of beach road! We will definitely be renting this property again!!

Great stay on the water

Boat house is huge with ample room to dock your boat during the stay is a selling point. The house and cleanliness of the property is great. Wife and kids were very comfortable during a spring break stay. Owners are friendly and communicative. Beach is only 5 minutes away. I will definitely be back.

Kitchen was fabulous! Very spacious, lots of cabinets, granite countertops with modern appliances and an excellent selection of pots, pans and utensils. Large utility room included full-size washer and dryer. AC was cold and comfortable. Nest thermostat. Easy to work. Bathrooms were roomy and accessible with instant hot water and the sundeck overlooking the Colorado River absolutely spectacular! Wifi was speedy and accommodated numerous devices. Highly recommend this property for your next Matagorda visit.

This is our new favorite place to gather the family....the boathouse is incredible. The views are fantastic. We had almost no neighbors while we stayed so that made it extra nice. We will be back. Yes, i highly recommend this house.

Amazing home

My wife and myself stayed with two other couples Labor Day weekend. Everyone really enjoyed the house and deck over the river. Everything was exactly like it showed on the advertisement. When we get a chance, we will definitely stay again.
