In St. Peter-Ording on the North Sea, right in the center (district Bad) our beautifully furnished apartment sea moments on the first floor of the house Loreley. It was completely renovated in 2014. The result is a tasteful apartment with high quality fittings and loving details to feel good. There are numerous restaurants, shops and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The pier, promenade and spa facilities are all within walking distance. Directly behind the property there are beautiful hiking trails through woods and dunes, which lead along the dike line with a view of the North Sea. The peninsula Eiderstedt is known for beautiful bike paths, idyllic towns, the 12 km long sandy beach of St. Peter-Ording, or the lighthouse Westerheversand. The agricultural landscape on the edge of the World Heritage Wadden Sea, is a retreat for many birds that make on their long trips rest in the foreland. Following in the footsteps of the whalers and Vikings, you will experience a storm-torn landscape that once belonged to the Danish kingdom.

Wir waren mit unserem „Schuhkarton“, wie mein Freund die Unterkunft liebevoll nannte, grundsätzlich zufrieden, mussten jedoch einen Tag früher abreisen, da das Bett eine Katastrophe war und wir unser eigenes Bett vermissten. Ab der zweiten Nacht litten wir unter starken Rücken- und Nackenschmerzen, die mit jeder Nacht schlimmer wurden. Matratzenbewertung: 2/10. Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft ist ein wenig lückenhaft. Hier eine detaillierte Zusammenfassung, sofern FeWo es zulässt: Bad: Beschreibung passt, Duschvorleger auch noch vorhanden. Küche: Beschreibung passt, aber: Mikrowelle (mit Grillfunktion, kein richtiger Backofen vorhanden) + Filterkaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, diversen Töpfen (inklusive einer Pfanne) und Geschirr für vier Personen. Außerdem lagen Lappen, Tücher und zwei Spülmaschinentabs bereit. Wohn-/Schlafbereich: Kleiderschrank mit einigen Kleiderbügeln (eventuell noch eigene mitbringen, da der Schrank darauf ausgelegt ist), ein kleiner (Ess-)Tisch mit drei Stühlen + Fernseher (mit HDMI-Anschlüssen). Das Bett besitzt katastrophale Matratzen und war mit vier Jahreszeitendecken sowie Kopfkissen ausgestattet. Allgemein: Putzmaterial, Tiefgaragenplatz und langsames WLAN vorhanden. Sehr netter Hausmeister. Sehr zentral und doch wenig Lärm. An sich netter Aufenthalt, aber wird aufgrund der Matratzen nicht nochmal gebucht- haben (Schlaf-)Qualität massiv beeinträchtigt. PS: Das Meat and Greet Restaurant (unter App.) hat frisch in KW 42 (2024) geschlossen.
