About this property
Home on 6 Acres with Pool+Hot Tub Atop Hill Country
It will be easy to forget your worries in this spacious and serene space in the heart of Texas Hill Country! You won't even be able to see neighbors or houses while you relax by the pool! The huge wrap-around deck has plenty of options for seating and the house is roomy and perfect for groups as each of the large bedrooms has its own full bathroom, in addition to the communal half-bath. Enjoy gorgeous views even while inside the home through the floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides.
There are three bedrooms and each has its own full bathroom. The Master bedroom is by itself on the North side of the house providing extra privacy. There is also a large office adorned with hardwood which can be used for an additional person/couple to sleep.
There is also a 4th bathroom which is convenient so that each bedroom stays private.
The living room, dining area and kitchen are all in one huge open area at the hearth of the home. Decorations have been left sparse purposefully as to not crowd the space, or minds of guests.
On the entirety of the East wall in the Great Room there are floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of the pool, Live and Red Oaks, the undeveloped hill-next-door, and gorgeous sunrises if you are the cock-a-doodle-doo type!
As you walk out the patio door onto the pool deck, you are completely isolated from the outside world and are free to be whoever you want to be!
The outdoor dining table is nestled under the massive sentinel Red Oak which provides shade all day long.
Come see for yourself, and you will be sure to come back every year after!
You will have access to the whole 6 acres and everything it entails! There is a long driveway taking you under the canopy of mature Cedars to your home-away-from-home!
There is a mud room entrance next to the driveway for those rainy Hill Country Spring days, complete with a beer fridge. This will be your main point of entry since the proper front door is on the largely unused side of the house.
There are also direct entrances into the office and both guest bedrooms on the South side of the house via the wraparound deck.
There is also a kids' treehouse on the yard, but it is better to look at than to use as it is deceivingly small inside.
There are even walking trails around the undeveloped portion of the acreage, but they are steep and rugged and not well marked so we cant recommend that you walk them.
Other things to note:
The pool is not heated so will be chilly in the cooler months.
The pool deck is made out of flagstone, and although we have sealed it and made it as grippy as possible, it still can be slippery whether or not you have shoes on. Please, please do not run on the pool deck and be careful even while walking.
Walking on the perimeter of the pool deck is not permitted either as the flagstone pieces used to cap the walls are very susceptible to detached and breaking off.
The pool does have 3 separate shallow lounge areas which are great for beating the heat if you are just wanting to sit/lay.
Finally, the pool is great for relaxing in and cooling off, but it is not a deep pool (maybe 4.5 feet at it's deepest point) so please do not ever dive into the pool and always be careful when jumping into it. It is recommended that you just use the stairs to get into and out of the pool.
There is a gas grill and pellet smoker for your use if desired. You may want to bring wood pellets if you’d like to use it just in case they run out.
