Secluded 7,800 SqFt Cabin in the Woods- Pond, River, Theater, Disc Golf & More
Escape to this stunning 7,800-square-foot cabin tucked away on 15 private acres, complete with its own pond and river. With 6 bedrooms, a spacious dorm room, and 7 ½ bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Completed in September 2022, this retreat offers endless activities right on the property—you can swim, fish, hike, or simply explore without ever getting in the car.
Challenge friends on the 9-hole disc golf course that winds for over a mile, or settle in for a movie night in the theater room that seats more than 20. The fun continues with a pool table, ping-pong table, a second game and living room featuring a 22-foot shuffleboard, and an 87-inch TV. Card tables on the balcony and in the game room, plus a closet stocked with games, mean there’s always something to do—whether it’s an active adventure, a competitive game night, or quietly reading a book while gazing out at the scenery.
The river has an incredible swimming hole teeming with fish—bring goggles and snorkel gear to dive in and explore. Cast a line in the pond or paddle around in the kayaks provided. For even bigger adventures, Anderson Ranch Reservoir is just 15 minutes away, offering boating, fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, and even cliff jumping.
The main floor features a beautiful master bedroom, with a second master upstairs, both boasting breathtaking views. The dorm sleeps 12 and has two full bathrooms, perfect for the kids. The fully stocked kitchen includes plates, bowls, cups, a griddle, crock pots, pots and pans, utensils, a mixer, coffee pot, toaster, spices, and more—everything you need to cook for a crowd. Outside, fire up the BBQ grill and gather around the picnic tables for meals with a view.
There’s a reason we have 100% five-star reviews—this is the place where unforgettable memories are made. We love hosting weddings and are honored to be part of such special celebrations. Because weddings often bring additional guests on the big day, which leads to more wear and tear and extra cleanup, there is an additional event fee of $1000 for weddings held at the property.

We had an amazing stay! Kokanee Creek Lodge is by far in my opinion, the best venue we could have had for my son and daughter in laws wedding! Beautiful, something for everyone and all ages! Hosts were amazing and I would strongly recommend for any family event or just to get away! Thank You!
We loved the scenery and the facility. We had a great stay and enjoyed the somewhat isolated location but easy to access. The owner was very responsive to any questions and needs and very helpful. It was a pleasure to have our family reunion at this facility.

The lodge is huge! The property is beautiful! We had an intimate wedding with our immediate family and very close friends. This place made my vision come to life and our day was a dream come true. If only we had more time to enjoy it! There are plenty of amenities for everyone. The scenery was beautiful and the house accommodated everyone comfortably. We would highly recommend this place to everyone and hope to be able to visit again sometime. Also Aaron is very kind and helpful and prompt in answering any questions you may have.
It was amazing a great place to stay. Great for a big family to be together and enjoy the great view. We all love the movie theater and the game room. The owners we so helpful with all the questions we had and the place was really clean. Great house!!!
The house for 10 of us perfectly. We had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We were able to ride our snowmobiles right from the property to the trailheads. We would love to come stay here again for another snowmobile trip or even explore in a different season.
My family of 21 people stayed at this cabin and loved it. Plenty of room so we never felt crowded. We had fun movie nights in the theater room. We loved playing in the river and pond. Perfect place for our group and a really great host who was very attentive to our needs.

The home was absolutely beautiful and was perfect for celebrating grandmas birthday with the entire family. The kids really enjoyed the movie and game rooms. The adults loved how there was room for all of us under one roof. The kitchen had everything we could have ever needed. The home is cozy and would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We really enjoyed having you and your family in our home and are grateful we were able to be a small part of your grandma’s birthday! You are welcome back anytime!
We had a fantastic time at this amazing cabin in the woods! It is much bigger than even pictured with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy inside and outside. Everything was clean, organized, and well kept. We had so much playing disc golf, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, playing corn hole, crafts on the patio, watching movies in the incredible theater room, playing pool, shuffleboard and the many games and puzzles in the game room closet! There was so much to do and our absolute favorite part was the magical river! Water temps and flow were perfect for all ages! The river is secluded and has spectacular views! So peaceful and fun! Our host Aaron was extremely responsive and generous! We can’t wait to return!
My family and I gathered here to celebrate a birthday. We had 19 people total and there was room for more! There was plenty to keep
everyone busy from ping pong, pool, games, a theater room, etc! We also went to Trinity Hot Springs which was fun. There was plenty of space to walk and play on the property. The kitchen was well equipped and met all of our needs. Aaron is a great host and responded to all communications quickly. We look forward to going back to stay again!
This lodge was amazing. There was plenty to do with the river and pond so close, The lodge was stocked with everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. The owner Aaron and his wife were so quick to answer any questions we had. I never thought I would want to watch a movie on vacation but the theater room was so comfortable and inviting everyone all 22 of us enjoyed a movie on our last night.I would totally recommend this place to everyone with large groups. We would love to go back.

Both house and property are beautiful. The house is huge with plenty of room for a large group. The theater room and shuffle board table were the hit of the weekend. The house is well stocked with everything one would need. The host was great to work with and very responsive to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this property!
This property literally has it all. Great views throughout, enough space and privacy to host a large group comfortably. The owners are easy to get ahold of, and should be a super host they are so amazing. The layout of the house is well thought, and comfortable for sleeping a group of adults.
From the river, to the ponds, to the views from the master, this is one of my favorite spots in all of Idaho. It really was a hidden Jem.

Thank you so much for staying with us Erika! It was a pleasure to host your event and I'm so glad you liked it. We hope to see you back again sometime!
The building is very spacious wonderful amenities, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, beautiful, natural, setting, private, and safe. Kitchen and cooking facilities were complete as any restaurant/kitchen. The pond was first rate for fishing as well as water toys. It fit all 27 of us among kayaks, paddle boards etc.. Our only problem was we didn’t stay long enough. We are planning to return in the future!! For anyone looking for accommodating more than 25 guests, this would be my top recommendation.

Robin, thank you so much for staying with us! So glad you got some fish in the pond and we would for sure love to have you back again anytime!
This lodge was a perfect solution for our extended family getaway. There were 33 of us from ages 6mo. to 73 yrs old. Some chose to sleep on a floor or a couch instead of the cots on the 3rd floor (cots were great for kids under 13). There were lots of activities for kids and adults alike both indoors and outdoors. The location made it possible for parents to relax and let the kids wander mostly unsupervised. Everyone had a great time and we would not hesitate to return.

About the host
Hosted by Aaron Fuhriman
We’re a family of seven from Boise, and this cabin started as a dream for us — a place where we could escape the noise of everyday life and spend time together making memories. My wife and I wanted a space where our five kids could grow up exploring the outdoors, swimming in the river, roasting marshmallows under the stars, and just enjoying being kids. When we built this cabin, we didn’t see it as just a vacation property; we built it as a true extension of our home.
From the start, every detail was chosen with family in mind. The big gathering spaces, the game room, the dorm for the kids — all of it was designed to bring people together. And somewhere along the way, the cabin became more than we even imagined. It’s the place where we all feel the most relaxed, the most connected, and the most at home.
We love Featherville — the quiet mornings, the smell of pine trees, the easy pace of life. We wanted to share that experience with others. Hosting gives us the chance to do that. It’s incredibly rewarding to see families, friends, and groups come here and create their own stories — fishing in the pond, watching movies in the theater room, jumping into the swimming hole, or just sitting on the porch and soaking it all in.
We’re not just listing a property; we’re opening up a space that means the world to us in hopes that it will mean something to you too. Our goal is simple: to give others the same kind of joy, connection, and lifelong memories that we’ve been lucky enough to experience here.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area because it offers something that’s getting harder to find — true peace and quiet without sacrificing accessibility or things to do. Featherville is just a scenic two-hour drive from Boise, but it feels like you’ve entered a different world. Unlike McCall or Cascade, which can be crowded and busy, Featherville stays wonderfully calm and uncrowded. There are no long traffic jams on the way up, and the roads stay open and easy to navigate all year long, making it a stress-free trip in any season.
What we love most about this area is how completely secluded it feels. The property has private river frontage with no neighbors in sight, giving you the kind of privacy and stillness that’s almost impossible to find these days. You wake up to the sound of the river flowing, breathe in crisp mountain air, and look out over tall pines that surround you on every side.
Anderson Ranch Reservoir is just 15 minutes away and adds a whole new level of adventure. It’s an uncrowded spot for fishing, boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and even cliff jumping if you’re feeling daring. The reservoir’s clear water and rugged shoreline make it feel like your own private playground.
The area is also home to some hidden gems. Trinity Hot Springs, just a short drive away, offers a chance to soak in natural geothermal waters that are known for their mineral-rich properties and relaxation. The surrounding pine forests create a postcard-perfect setting for hikes, wildlife watching, or simply taking a deep breath and unwinding.
Featherville itself is a small, welcoming mountain town with just enough amenities to make things convenient while still keeping its charm. That’s what we love about it — you can unplug here, slow down, and connect with nature, your family, and yourself.
What makes this property unique
What makes Kokanee Creek Lodge truly unique is that it’s more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience. Tucked away on 15 secluded acres, the property offers rare privacy while still being easily accessible, creating the perfect blend of retreat and adventure. You won’t find another cabin that combines this much space, comfort, and fun under one roof. At 7,800 square feet, the home was thoughtfully designed to bring everyone together while still giving guests plenty of room to spread out. With 6 bedrooms, a dorm that sleeps 12, and 7 ½ bathrooms, it comfortably accommodates large groups, family reunions, or multiple families traveling together.
The setting itself is something special — a private pond, a river running through the property, and a natural swimming hole you can jump into on a summer afternoon. Guests can fish, swim, or kayak without ever leaving the property, which is something few vacation homes can offer. Beyond the water, the 9-hole disc golf course spans more than a mile, winding through the trees for an outdoor challenge that’s both scenic and fun.
Inside, the lodge feels like a playground for all ages. There’s a theater room that seats over 20 for movie marathons, a pool table, ping-pong table, 22-foot shuffleboard, and an 87-inch TV for game days or movie nights. Multiple game tables, a fully stocked closet of board games, and cozy spaces for reading or relaxing mean everyone finds their own corner of enjoyment.
The location adds another layer of uniqueness — just 15 minutes from Anderson Ranch Reservoir for boating, skiing, wakeboarding, and cliff jumping, yet surrounded by peaceful woods where you feel far from the world. It’s the rare combination of adventure and serenity, and that’s why every guest leaves with the same impression: there’s nothing quite like Kokanee Creek Lodge.
