We love the older homes in the Monroe Garden District and the local vibe of the community. It has been updated the to include modern amenities. It has the southern style pass-through rooms and a big fenced in backyard with a back deck. Bookings are not accepted after 7PM and check in is between 3PM and 10PM. Pets are NOT allowed. This is an older home, so if you are expecting new, this one may not be for you.

great location
in Monroe for tennis tournament and location was great
Overall good location near main areas of Monroe. Bedrooms were just a little uncomfortable with one having access to an outside exit door.

The house is a well maintained older house, the bed rooms are spacey. The water pressure was great in the showers, always a positive! We will stay here again when we come back.
We only had an overnight stay, but the property was easy to find and in a nice neighborhood. The property has been well maintained, it was clean, and decorated nicely. I would stay there again.
We felt very at home here. We would definitely consider booking again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
This home was horrible. Very run down, not clean, one of the showers did not work, the coffee pot did not work. The counter top around the coffee pot was dirty. Found dead roaches on kitchen floor. The location of the house was a bit sketchy. Listing should disclose that there are window units.
My husband, step-daughter, my son, and my mother and father in law stayed the night for my stepdaughter’s graduation from ULM. The house was plenty big enough and the beds were comfy. The house is a lot bigger than it looks. Was great for the night and only 10 mins from the school.
This place was okay for our short stay in Monroe. Loved having a washer and dryer available for us since we were drenched from the rain. Definitely heard things in the attic moving around and the attic door above the bed was cracked open so that had me sleeping on a prayer. Overall I’d probably picked this house again if I visit Monroe again
My sister, my partner and I, all in our 60's, stayed for two nights of rest and to attend my niece's graduation from LA Tech. We are sort of buffs on architectural details in older homes and just really liked the place. Thanks so much.
