Tucked away among the trees at the end of a quiet lane, this light-filled cottage provides a blissfully private setting that's only a mile from downtown Chatham and Lighthouse Beach.
This home is beautifully secluded on a private dirt road, in the midst of conservation land frequented by deer, rabbits, owls, and wild turkeys. Yet you can also walk to Main Street, Lighthouse Beach, the Atwood Museum, summer concerts, whale watches, shops, restaurants, and Cape Cod Baseball League games at Veterans Field (the home of the Chatham A's). This is truly the Cape Cod experience at its best.
Stroll or ride your bikes home from days at the beach to rinse off in the outdoor shower on the deck, fire up the gas grill, and gather at the picnic table for a late lunch beneath the trees.
Inside, the single-level living space is breezy and bright, with picture windows bringing in the natural setting on three sides. Use stainless steel appliances to prepare meals in the airy kitchen, set up after-dinner board games at the dining room table, and spend the evening hours streaming movies on the living room TV. As the day's swimsuits spin in the washer/dryer, you'll get a restful night's sleep in the bedroom and the open sleeping nook on one side of the living area.

Everything was just right. We only had one night for a tiny vacation and the house was easy to access, communication was easy and clear with the host, the house was quiet and cozy.
Enjoyed our stay here! The location and the cottage itself were spectacular! One morning had a couple of deer grazing in the backyard and it was lovely watching them from the couch:)

Wooded cozy cottage
Small quant cottage in a peaceful setting located in a very quiet neighborhood of Chatham. Close to town with plenty of shopping and restaurants.
Fantastic retreat. Clean. Quiet. Well appointed. Just wish there were instructions on how to get local news stations on the TV

Quiet and quaint
Loved this charming little house! It was beautifully furnished. The area was so quiet and relaxing but close enough to downtown. The outdoor shower was great too! Perfect for little family of 4!

Nice little house
This property is excellent, just 5 minutes from the lighthouse and the beach. There were three of us there and it was quite comfortable. But check with Vacasa in advance that the driveway to the house is free from any road work during your stay.
Very quiet, peaceful and clean in a very nice part of town. My only complaint is that I forgot to bring my own pillow and really didn't like theirs... otherwise it was lovely.

Great quiet spot
We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and quaint. If you’re renting this property keep in mind there is no heat at all and no air conditioning in the main bedroom. We stayed during a chilly time so we were cold. Bring your own frying pan because the ones that are supplied are scratched up and pieces of the non-scratch material made its way into the food we cooked. Otherwise it was nice! The place is in need of a deep cleaning as well.

Great Family spot for young kids
We were very comfortable in the cute and clean cabin for our 2-night stay! Our young girls (ages 4 and 6) loved the outdoor shower, and the trundle bed was perfect for them! Only negative is that we didn’t find walk to town and lighthouse beach safe for young kids because of limited sidewalks during the walk, but it’s easy for one adult to drop off (only a few minute drive), and then walk alone. Overall would definitely recommend!
Location in south Chatham hidden away yet close to the sites. Brand new appliances. Even high price rentals in this zip code come without sheets, towels, amenities, and care. This cottage is an exception in all the above categories.
Well equipped and comfortable small house. Wifi is a big deal us and it was slow with a lot of buffering. It is managed by a company, not the owner. We went by a couple of hours early and it was cleaned. We asked to check in and was denied. They even made us wait until exactly 4:00 PM.

Quiet Comfort
Quiet and comfortable small cottage. Perfect for couple or young family of 4. 3-4 min drive to Chatham center or Lighthouse Beach. Prob a 20+ min walk to each. Caution: bathroom is super small! Not suitable for anyone wearing XXL plus size clothing. I'm a L/XL guy and it was uncomfortable. My wife is petite and complained.

The sofa could be bigger and L- shaped. The wicker chair in the corner could be a corner electric fireplace. The lighting outside is not good. Could be put a motion sensor or timer. I'm sure you probably don't get a lot of winter guests. But the steps down weren't cleaned off and no railings down. Having said that the location is absolutely beautiful. And we had a good time.
We rented Sea House so our family could spend some time together while we were in Chatham for a wedding. We loved our stay! Seahorse included everything we needed. Well equipped, very clean, close to town and still secluded, comfortable, and adorable. Our 2 sons 21 and 24 willingly slept on the twin beds and said they were comfortable. The separate bedroom is roomy and also has a comfortable bed. We found Sea House smallish for 4 adults but perfect for a long weekend stay. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. It was as cute and light filled as it looked. Every evening we bought fresh fish from the pier and grilled outside sitting at the large sturdy picnic table and playing some of the many games available. And I personally have a weakness for outdoor showers🙂. Take your bug spray.
