Dated furnishings and carpet, the latter appeared quite dirty. Shower floor dirty. Limited breakfast offerings. Good location but not a place you'd want to hangout in.
The staff we're excellent in recommending activities(hikes) and using the local transportation(buses).

Aspen Mountain Lodge 203
Aspen Mountain Lodge is one of Aspen's best values- it honestly can't be beat for the price. It's a great, central location. The room was basic, but clean. The breakfast was better than expected. The pool/hot tub was a nice touch as well, though we wished the hot tub was a bit hotter! Our biggest complaint was that the walls were fairly thin and our room was close to the entrance, so we heard a lot throughout the night/morning. White noise on your phone is definitely recommended. We would return!
Highly suggest to bring snacks and your own bottled drinks. Was toldThey would have fruit and tea/coffee available , but the fruit was rotted and the beverages was old and sat all day. There was no drinking water available. We were told to “drink out the faucet”. Everything else was ok.
