Why they chose this property
We built Bear's Wilderness Lodge around one idea: a big family should be able to vacation together without anyone drawing the short straw on their bedroom. Every bed is a king. Every bathroom is full. The main-level bedroom means grandparents or guests with mobility needs aren't stuck navigating stairs. The lower-level bedroom puts the teenagers next to the game room and theater where they want to be anyway.
The location inside Gatlinburg city limits is something we're genuinely proud of. You're close to everything — Arts & Crafts District, Rocky Top Sports World, downtown, the national park — without the steep mountain roads that make some Gatlinburg cabins stressful to arrive at and leave. City water with no sulfur smell is a bonus most guests don't expect until they experience it.
We're small on purpose. It's just our two properties — this cabin and our beach house in Destin. That means when you message us, you get us.

What makes this property unique
Five things that set Bear's Wilderness Lodge apart from other 5-bedroom cabins in Gatlinburg:

Direct owner contact — you're communicating with Mark and Amanda, not a ticketing system
