I have four different units at this resort available to rent. Each has it's own availability and pricing which you can here:
Two Bedroom Oceanview https://www.vrbo.com/3189682?
Two Bedroom Island View https://www.vrbo.com/296733?
One Bedroom Oceanview https://www.vrbo.com/3189725?
One Bedroom Island View https://www.vrbo.com/1032491?
UNIT SPECIFICS AND VIEWS:
This entire resort is run by Westin and managed like a hotel. All the of the same view type at this resort are managed as part of a common pool. Unit assignments are made at check in. No one has the right to any specific unit.
This has some advantages and disadvantages for you, the guest.
Advantages:
1) There's no risk that you'll get a unit with tacky left over furniture from the 70s, or that hasn't been cleaned well, or with ancient non-working appliances. All the units are furnished by Westin and are identical on the inside.
2) Procedures for check in, etc are simple. No matter who you rent from, you get your electronic card keys at the same front desk, etc.
Disadvantages:
1) Because all the units are part of a common rental pool by view type, no owner can tell you which specific unit you will be assigned. However, you are guaranteed the view type you reserved.
2) No left over stuff from the previous guest. My lowest review came from a guest who was unhappy that there were no condiments left over from the prior guest. Westin cleans these units like a hotel, i.e. there is NOTHING left over from the previous guest. The fridge and kitchen cabinets will be completely empty. If that's not what you want, you shouldn't rent at this property.
RENTAL INFORMATION:
Why should you rent from me then instead of the many others listing identical units on VRBO®?
1) Accurate availability calendar
VRBO® lets you search for properties which are available during your desired dates. Unfortunately, many owners at this property don't keep their calendar up to date. That's a good way to let you waste your time contacting owners who don't have your dates available. I have a lot of dates to rent and I keep my calendar up to date.
2) Flexibility in length of stay.
If you don't want to book exactly 7 days and check in on a Saturday, I can help. I own a lot of time at this resort so I can be flexible on length of stay and check in date. I take bookings of 3 or more days starting any day of the week.
3) Flexibility to change dates or cancel.
If your plans change after booking, you have some flexibility if you notify me at least 70 days before your original check in date. (Specials can not be canceled.)
You can choose from these options at the time of cancellation: a) 90% credit toward booking different dates the same year as your original reservation, b) 75% credit toward booking different dates in the year after your original reservation; or c) 50% cash refund.

For relaxation and rejuvenation, guests can enjoy the resort's hot tubs, or work up a sweat in The Westin Workout Fitness Center, which features a sauna and steam room.

Such a great place to stay. The hotel had many great features for our family to enjoy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The best part, we were able to see whales from the lanai. Would stay here again and recommend it for families!
Lovely property… the Restaurant located on the property is great for breakfast and lunch not much of a selection for dinner…the full kitchen a must when traveling with grown adult sons that love to eat. Many barbecues around the property to use for dinners in… Close to Lahaina and whalers village for shopping and restaurants
I would Definitely recommend this property and I would stay there again…
Pictures are not of the actual property. The side with the kitchenette smelled and was musky. Shower was stained and dirty. Check in was over an hour later than promised. Messaged the host upon check in but never got a response.

Disappointed!
The photos of the rooms overrated. The size of the rooms are inaccurate. Although the description says possibility of ocean view, there is not a chance of that as the reservation is booked as island view, and the host doesn’t tell you that. Service at the front desk is terrible. Linens are worn. This property has no business being under the Marriott umbrella .

More of a hotel stay than a condo stay but enjoyed it.
Our group enjoyed our stay here but would have loved to have it more of a condo where there were things like salt& pepper, extra laundry soap, containers for food use, aluminum foil, parchment paper, extra spices ect just things that other condos we have stayed in that make it easier for families. It was hard to cook in the kitchen provided when nothing like this was in the condo. This was more of a "hotel stay" and if you needed anything "extra" you had to buy it yourself. We won't stay here again but enjoyed our time here.

That's certainly a disappointing review. It's especially so when I accommodated the guest by giving credit for a rebooking outside the cancellation policy. Yes, as described in the listing, Westin manages and cleans the resort like a hotel. If you wouldn't expect to find the prior guest's stuff in the fridge or cabinets at a Westin hotel, it isn't going to be there at this resort either.

Communication with Bob, the property manager, was pretty much non-existent. I didn’t really know if we had a place, and I reached out to him several times, but no response until a couple of days before arrival.

Mixed review
The resort was lovely and the rooms were very nice however I feel like the owner is misleading in his listing. I know he does not guarantee any specific view, but upon arriving I asked if it was possible that we get an ocean view and she kind of laughed and said that we cannot hop to a different room level. We got to our room and were staring at the horseshoe driveway at the entrance of the resort with people busy coming and going, as well as in view of the highway.....also, note that the balcony was right above the smoking area. My husband went back to the front desk to speak with someone and was told that the owner booked us this specific room. While I know we were not guaranteed anything specific, the woman at the desk implied that there was never a chance in us getting another room because this was exactly the room that was requested by the owner. We could hear the highway the entire trip so there was no sleeping with the doors open to the sounds of the ocean. That aside, we had a fantastic vacation, the rooms were spacious, and the resort was beautiful. There is no daily room cleaning unless you want to pay additional for it, but they did come to refresh the room every 3-4 days. The pools were very nice and the beach right behind the resort was the best place for snorkeling. The restaurant on our side of the resort was not the best (just ok food, mediocre drinks, poor service, and high prices) but there are lots of great places around to eat. They also have a shuttle to Whalers Wharf and downtown Lahaina.....and Ubers are easy to get. Rentals at the resort were crazy expensive, but we found a place about a mile down the road called The Snorkel Store which had excellent prices for renting boogie boards (and snorkel gear but we had brought our own). We stopped at Walmart on our first day to do food shopping and bought beach chairs there which were cheaper than a one-day rental at the resort. There is also a Costco on the island if you have a membership there. So although the room location did not ruin our trip, I would just like to tell potential families that if you are ok with a view/sound of the highway then you wont have an issue, but if you want to be guaranteed anything above that, rent elsewhere.
The resort was beautiful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom lock off and it worked great for us. The pool was a little crowded on the weekend but that is to be expected.
The family had tons of fun here! The kids loved the pool slide and running back and forth to the beach which was also one of the best places we snorkeled.
This condo was as advertised, and I appreciated the owner’s thorough comments in the posting. First the good: it was a nice unit inside, plenty of space, updated interior. The pool area was pretty and though crowded every day, we generally managed to find a spot to sit when we wanted. One of the best things was the awesome snorkeling right off the beach in front—we saw all kinds of fish and turtles too. On the downside, we knew there was a chance we wouldn’t get a nice view, and we definitely didn’t. We looked out over a parking lot, with the highway maybe 50-100 yards away. You could hear the cars going by, even with the windows shut. Having had an ocean view elsewhere before, I probably would not book a place again where I couldn’t guarantee a nice outdoor spot for breakfast or a cocktail.
We rented two 2-bedroom lock-offs and couldn’t have had a better experience. All communication leading up to the trip was fantastic and the description was 100% accurate. The property is in an amazing location…close to many shops, restaurants, and activities, and the trolley and shuttle both provide free transportation to many places! The resort was immaculately clean and the beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. We would happily rent from Bob again!
Everything was fabulous - clean, scenic, comfortable! Only criticism - all pool chairs were taken by 9:00am, our property overlooked the parking lot and highway so it was a bit noisy on the lanai, and there was lots of confusion with the property manager shortly after booking. We received several messages from VRBO that our dates changed. He said to ignore them since they reflected other properties (still confusing). Also the reservation number didn’t match the one at the front desk, but they were able to resolve it. Otherwise would stay here again.
This property was truly paradise! Gorgeous grounds, great swimming options for the kids, so much space, and fantastic ability to cook and not have to eat out every meal. The beach was right there with gentle waves and easy snorkeling. Parking and access was so simple, check in was a breeze! We would go back here 100%
We went to Maui thinking that we had a chance of getting an ocean view room. It was not clear to me when booking that this was an island view room as I was later told by one of the Westin employees. The reservation confirmation mentioned the room would be assigned upon arrival. After visiting with the front desk about the possibility of a oven view room multiples times we were able to move rooms half way through our stay.
The resort was great - very clean, friendly/helpful staff, great pool and fantastic snorkeling at the beach. Note because of the coral you will want water shoes and this is not somewhere that you will want to boogie board or jump around.
My husband and I brought our 6 kids (5-15yrs) to the Westin and loved it! Bob is great to work with and the condo is awesome! We loved the adjoining rooms and having a kitchen! Saves lots of money to be able to cook some meals and have an easy bowl of cereal when the kids need a snack. Mahalo!
